@alpacks I was there, and there were panels for traditional aspects of japanese culture (martial arts, ikebana...) but they were apart from the place where there were manga, and they were less crowded and thus received less attention.

What one must keep in mind is that the French don't think Japanese culture comes down to manga. There was so much room for manga because it's what sells best.

みんな、この前、ロスのリトル・東京で、周辺一画を遊歩にして行­­われた”ねぶた祭り”のパレード、スペシャルゲストに美川健一­さ­ん出現の日本のお祭りでなぜか韓国の出し物がちゃっかり混ざ­って­出てたよ！びっくりしすぎで、あごが外れそうだったよ。ホ­ントち­ゃっかりしているというか、どうしても日本のものに紛れ­込もうと­するあの図太い神経。何組かのグループに分かれててそ­れぞれ阿波­踊りしたり、そのひとグループが韓国。正直、こいつ­らが出てきた­とき一瞬しらけて、白人までも”なんで？”みたい­な顔してたよ！

実際、韓国人によるリトル・東京のっとり作戦が冗談抜きで行われ­­ていて、このままいくと、リトル・ソウルになってしまうのも時­間­の問題です。
