In Heartgold, the two best pokemon in that gym for me were slowbro and mamoswine. Mamoswine dealt the most damage to Claire's dragons, and when my pokemon were starting to go down, slowbro took the hits from her pokemon like a champ.

1) Claire is a bitch. You can only earn your badge if u complete the dragon users challange? Like seriosly? Hell no. If i wanted to be a dragon user dont ya think ida done that? You lost. Thats THE RULES. now pay up

2) claire claims to be able to beat the elite 4 but her strongest pkmn is lvl 40. Now explain to me this. She can beat the elite 4, i beat her, but (at my current lvls) i cant beat the elite 4.

I just realized: Lance has three dragonites. I knew that already, but I remembered that getting a Dragonite by leveling up to 55 is a pain. But Lance is a master, because he did that 3 TIMES. That's 165 levels for the same pokemon.

On MY run of soul silver:

her Kingdra used Hyper Beam on my Togekiss.

didnt do HALF my health. On the SAME turn, I tried getting lucky with my own hyper beam attack. ONE HIT KILL. NOT hard if you have the right moves.

@IslandBros15 NORMALLY you need the NDex before you can access the shiny stone (to evolve togetic) I had a spare shiny stone on PKMN Platnum, which I traded over. you just need the right "Connections *wink*

PS my nature cut my attack for my Sp. attack. combined with max Sp. atk. EVs from the ghastly in sprout tower...

Lets just say it's a deadly combo. especialy on a properly trained SP. ATKer.

Kingdra is Water/Dragon type,

so even though grass and thunder beat water types, dragon types are resistant to grass, fire, and thunder

So hitting Kingdra with thunder, or grass moves will result in normal damage.
