My family and I just got back from eating at Outback in Live Oak, Texas. It was the worst dining experience ever. They told us a 40 minute wait which turned into an hour wait. The ran out of baked potatoes. The steak was horrible. Finally the waiter spilled a plate full of food on one of my guests. DON’T EAT AT OUTBACK!!!
stiggy i think thats the idea. its suppose to be funny and i think they are saying outback is so good that it would make kiwis pretend to be australian.
ahaha just before i saw his i was like why didnt i see any of jemaines commercials? then i saw this i was like hey.. i remember this! mom not as good not as good!
This guy IS a new zealander. He has a TV series called "Flight of the Conchords" about him and a friend as newzealanders and in a two man band. It's a hillarious show..
and that is fairly accurate. Aside from several words, the two accents pretty much are the same. I couldn't spot a Canadian unless that person says one of those subtle words or they tell me they are from Canada.
Sth Australia was settled by a commercial arrangement, as a company for religious dissenters from the North of England. Angus Parsons did it. No satire: it's rascism by weak desperate for jokes cretins.
This accent is strange. It's neither an Australian or New Zealand accent. He's a Nzer putting on an Australian accent and it sounds terrible and forced.
I LOVE this one much more(there are 2 outback commercials w/ Jemaine in it). I love it. I laughed so hard. "Mum! not as good. back to the drawing board!"
Ahh Kiwi vs. Aussie accents, sorry all of us N. America can't tell the difference, its kind of like how everyone thinks Canadians and Americans sound alike...surry aboot that my friends from up north
I'm with you on that one buddy, I also can't tell an Aussie voice from a Kiwi voice.
And you know what, sometimes I can't even tell a Canadian just by hearing him/her talk. I didn't even know Jim Carrey is Canadian until I looked it up years ago.
There are however certain words, i.e. "About", "House", and "Against", that automatically tells us they are Canadian by the way they say those words.
The difference between Australian and kiwi accents is almost the same as the difference between Canadian and American. Americans sound almost the same as Canadians but there are a few key differences and if you're familiar you can pick them out
There are a few subtle differences between Canadian and American talk, not that anybody, even in North America can, spot them. But there are a few differences.
