Is that a Same Antares 100? they are hora good tractors, got one on our mixer wagon-1990 G reg with over 9000 hours one the clock and starts everytime! remember these crackin tractors were built when operating hours only count up at working revs of 1800. not like the modern electronic pish that counts up tickin over!
I don't think they do do they? I always thought older clocks were geared for 1800rpm, in other words if you left the tractor running at 1800rpm for 1 hour then that was an hour on the clock. 2 hours at 900 rpm would give one hour on the clock. No?
Some people still use the Double chap thing, but not many. Mostly DIY types. I would say most would not have the time or patience to be bothered with it.
