I wonder how Nathan truly feels about the loss a young child feels when it is due to his own choice of separation. Little girls do love their fathers even when that father makes no attempt to say hello. A simple hello. I have always felt and won't stop because of one person , to admire and feel inspiration from the Indian culture, however just as in any political arena if there are skeletons in the closet should they not be disclosed and amended where they can be.

Sioux men who have so many resposibilites are here n there all the time helping others and most of the time need lots of help with their ceremonys it is a big honor lakotagirl!!! It makes him a special person!

Ya'ahte'eh! Nathan is actually a really a good man....I've known him for a really long time now. He has taught me a lot about myself and also about his culture.He's a very down to earth guy....He comes from a good family too.His mother is a very sweet and humble woman,his father Joseph Chasinghorse is a good/great leader too.Its no wonder Nathan is how and who he is today...I'm greatful for him as you all should be.Just by watchin this video,you probably learned something about him or yourself..

@kiyaani01 and he's so so proud to be sioux it makes me very proud to see that we as native people have such proudness to wear spiritual power..nath when i first saw him as a kid in '' dances with wolves'' i said it from there,that that kid is going to be a special leader..a traditional leader..bc of this when he sang even in a siouxan languge..one feels his love even if you dont understand the language

the reason he has three wives is becuase of the responsibility he has. Long ago only the medicine men, chiefs and a very special warrior every now and then could have more than one companion so if you look at it that way it's an honor to have more than one wife see what i mean?

@lakotagurl19 Yeah but one of his wives aunt said that she is very unhappy with him and plans to charge him after she receives therapy. If they are all happy then that is one thing, but the families of two of his wives are very hurt and upset and said that he lured them at a very tender age. Is that okay? I like him, but if he is manipulating young girls, then something should be said and done about that.

@godschildyes Look. That is my grandfather. I traveled with him most of my life.
And those 'young girls' are my grandmas. I love them with all of my heart and I know for a fact that they are happy. You maybe it would be better to speak of experience than to speak of something you don't know anything about. I on the other hand am speaking from what I know. If you speak this way then I suspect you are a pitiful woman and I will pray for you and your mind to heal in a good way.

@lakotagurl19 LOL! I am not a pitiful woman who needs her mind to heal "in a good way". I am all about truth and looking at it head on. I do not believe it is healthy to ignore red flags and disturbing reports of young girls being hurt. When I say young girls, I'm not just talking about his wives okay? Truth makes minds heal, not silence and denial. Truth is not hate either it's awareness, protection and freedom. I don't want you to stop loving him because if it.

But you are a child and that is certainly not a put-down on my part, it's just a fact that you are. In the realm of justice there are even wrongs that were made in the past that need to be exposed. @lakotagurl19 You are correct in that truth is seeing what is right and what is wrong! PERIOD! The truth is that Nathan is STILL hurting people and there is just no way around that! There are many, many testimonies that women and girls have been giving and this just can't be ignored! Call me obsessed if you want to cause I can't stand abuse and manipulation. It makes sense that you are in denial and I don't blame you for that. Abuse is not a mere "mistake", it is deliberate.

@lakotagurl19 continued: I will speak of what I believe needs to be made aware of. It's not just one Aunt who is hurt. It is a lot of people. I'm sure your Uncle or Grandfather is a neat person, but the does not mean he does not have frailties. There are too many cases where people are hurt over the same thing and I have spoken with some of them by phone. They can not fake that kind of anger and those kind of tears. Yes, I do know what I'm talking about in regards to their hurt!

No one is asking you to stop loving him. But there are a lot of people who are hurt and upset. You've read the other comments people left. I've spoken with a few of them personally. Anyone can have "beautiful energy", no matter who they are. My mind needs no healing when it comes to this....

Ive read alot of bad stuff about him and i seriously dont know what to think. But then i again his only human and no one is perfect. And thats really the issue i think, that we idolize and put famous people on a pedistal and worship them. And then if the do someting "wrong" or "human" we all of the sudden hate them...its funny, its a mistery how it all works..
