I think Frank Oz was the cloud and Kevin Clash was the sun, the cloud sounded like the one in the "Here is your life, Oak Tree" sketch.

I thought it was Frank at first, but when you listen closely, you find that there's a real trace of Hoots the Owl in his voice. And I highly doubt that Steve is the Sun. Doesn't sound like him to me.

If, however, you mean how does that particular carton know, perhaps because it was the only one containing Muppet eggs on the display. It would have made for a rather one-sided sketch if a carton of ordinary eggs had been the subject... :-)
