4 people taking torment will not work, player 1 will take it for 10 sec then he gets the debuff for 40 sec. so that means 4 other players after him have to take it for 10 secs as well if i;m not mistaken.

Just wanted to comment here about the 4 person rotation. It's incorrect. We've tried this in our raid and it inherently requires a fifth person. The tormented debuff starts ticking after the first 10 sec is over. There are only 30 sec in between. The debuff would remain on the first person for nine seconds after the fourth person tanks it. Needs to be correct. Thanks.

The guide is much better than Tankspot and it covers 10mans which is very helpful but I just want to know why they use 2 healers on tanks instead of just one? I am a healer in my guild and I have been doing it with 1 healer on tanks fine and we down it every week it allows for our other healers to get more stacks which helps. Guess it can be done either way but with this it sounds like in the later parts of the fight healers will have trouble because they have less stacks.

The thing I like most about Learntoraid is the break up. the way he breaks up the fight.

He also keeps it simple and to the point. Tankspot I like also, but not as much. they don't break the fight down as well. They oftentimes talk too fast. Learntoraid talks at a nice slow tone thats easy to listen to and learn from.

@Llortsaccount yeah its possible to solo tank, with a paladin you can divine gaurdian to stop decimation blade killing you if your life isnt at 90%+, also if your setup has a holy priest, get them to use gaurdian spirit.

@SideRaidEffect Divine guardian is a raid wall.  I assume you meant bubble, in which case the boss will start smacking dps. Pallies have LoH and Ardent Defender to keep them from dying.

@sirlaughsalot1234 Baleroc is a lot less stressful than Chimaeron. You already know what you're healing and it's much easier to prepare for the damage.  The fight doesn't require you to be as reactive as Chimaeron did and really let's you relax more.

Okay, do the healers not do any cross-healing at all? Like if you have Healer A healing the first Torment, should B and C not help on Torment and vice-versa with tanks?

Because I think I didn't do any cross-healing and found it alot easier to heal Torment targets compared to the other 2 who were panic healing. So, do healers have to remain disciplined with their assignments?

@nottodayimsleeping I would guess it's because of Vital Flame/Spark. As soon as you stop healing Torment to go on the tank, your healing stacks are converted and you can't gain any more for 15 seconds.

Honestly, when it comes down to recording a raid video explaining encounter mechanics and strategy, L2R is definitely doing better than tankspot. L2R is showing the real action in game when explaining boss skills/spells, while tankspot usually just gives you some funny cartoon and a few lines explaining. Especially, at the time of posting this, tankspot still haven't had their Alysrazor video ready.

Am I the only one thinking this is wrong? You count the Debuff timer from when the last stack of Torment hits, so THEN you have 40 seconds of Tormented, so you need five people, not four to do the full rotation?

We tried using 4 people & essentially every time we got back to person 1, they still had 10 seconds of the debuff remaining, so they died pretty much instantly. Don't see how the maths adds up here.
