  • what would you call a person who does this professionally in movies? i was thinking what to do as a career and i really liked the mechanics behind gore

    thanks

  • Nice work on the timing

  • keep pressing 5

  • well, that was a waste of ketchup

  • love it!

  • i thought a skin flap was just pulled off revieling an artist wound,

  • Found this completely at random...but I'm glad I read the comments...atleast now I know why she has a tube connected to her skull and a huge lump on her forehead :D

  • nice tits on that tramp!

  • looked better than the ones i seen lately. CP rocks

  • this is too realistic for movies - simply will not pass ratings

  • One nasty pimple.

  • how did they make that?

  • she's weird lookin, ugly little bitch lol

  • @1FuckedUpIndividual

    She's cute.

  • can you give a tutural plz

  • great boobs!!!

  • wow!!!!!

  • how do you do the thing on her forehead?

  • the tie a button to fishing line and paste it on her head with some kind of make up, along with some blood. they pull the string, releasing the blood and tearing off the makeup.

they used this technique in Dawn of the Dead.

  • Thanx

  • ...listen to the title of the video...

  • haha this is awesom, lool but you know that there is something called adobe after effetcs? but since your in fx school u dont need that :P

  • I've never seen a convincing bullet hit done digitally. This sort of thing is the only way to go. it helps actors toom to have blood and stuff on set.

  • whats with the string on her hair?

  • th@ would b an awesum prank if i had sumthing 4 a bullet sound

  • Wow so that's how it's done it actually looks complicated and needing quite a bit of people to pull it off!

  • Well, this isn't the way most movies do it. Most of them use squibs, but this is the poor man's squib. More complicated, but cheaper and doesn't need a pyrotechnic specialist.

  • @shorstackefx i love playing with squibs. they make a good halloween prank

  • Very nice!

For the entrance wound on the forehead did you use a small tube connected to the larger one and concealed under the hair / hidden with makeup or is it a resivour made from derma wax and when the button is pulled the blood pours out?

  • it is a tube hidden under the hair. :) Very fun, but annoying to time right effect. You need at least 3 people (in addition to the actor/actress) to pull it off fully.

  • that was AWESOME. how much training does it take to do stuff like this???

  • Why did she shot in heart

  • wtf wut was that

  • What materials were used..?

  • It's wax covering a button so that when you pull the button, the wax over the button comes with it and the wax around the button stays leaving a hole. so the wax, the button, the string, some piping shaped to the head attached to tubing to a syringe for the blood to flow through and makeup to make it look convincing

  • Ooh ok. Soo, did you guys make a film or something?

  • nope. we did it for class. I go to school for makeup efx

  • Dang. Wish i could do that. Very sweet.

  • I would understand tubing attached to the back of the head, but how did you get the blood to squirt out of the wound?

  • how did you get the hole in the head? fake skin?

  • It's wax covering a button so that when you pull the button, the wax over the button comes with it and the wax around the button stays leaving a hole.

  • Where do you buy something like that? I'm shooting an independant zombie film in may. Your help would be much appreciated.

  • thats just great!
