  • Thank you for this series. Im new to animating in general (as well as anything artistic really), and I could not find anything useful on this software. Glad I found this linked on newgrounds :D

  • I know I'm late to the party sorry, but it took me this long to finally find quality Animate/ Animate Pro 2 tutorials for someone has the desire and hopefully talent, but I always lacked the knowledge on how to use the darn software. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Please stay well and healthy and oh yea, Thank you!

  • may i know what tablet do you use to draw? :)

  • @JohnnyBeatstee I use a Wacom 9x12 (Intuos 3) but I don't think they make them in that size any more. They're 8x11 (A4) now.

  • @chluaid thanks

  • Thanks!! great tutorial.. i still use flash 2004 MX pro .. hate the later versions.. now it's time to boom!!

  • thanks for the tuotorial didn¡t know you were using toonboom; i started learning animation after watchin bitey of brackenwood in newgrounds a few years ago, so obviously i started with flash, i searched some tutorials on animate with no luck.

im really greatfull to you. thank you very much.

  • Thanks a lot man! it's so good tolearn from a good animator, i appreciate your efforts very much! Keep up!

  • you use toon boom D: aww i thought you used flash cs3 :( still cool though :3

  • why is it when I've downloaded the demo for this it doesn't have one to one pen scribing, there's always a delay after you've made the stroke

  • cant wait for the next brackenwood..

  • Thanks a lot Adam!! This is what Animate was missing, quality and easy to follow tutorials and training. The free training that was available for Animate 1, does not teach things well, because skips many steps, and then you get in the middle of nothing. Thanks again

  • You said it man. I couldn't agree more!

Toon Boom Animate NEEDS more, GOOD training videos like these!

  • Exactly what I need. Thank you Adam.

  • yeah adam, Thanks a kazillion. where's the paypal donate button?

I love you man! no homo.

  • you would be a life saver if your new training series featured this. It's faster and easier than traditional frame by frame (which looks better, but takes forever)

  • About bloody time Toon Boom hired somebody with actual talent to teach the software!!!!1 lol

Been trying to learn this beast (Animate PRO) forever, but just gave up and went back to Flash!

How the hell did you get hold of Version2? hmm.. you must really be a VIP with Toon Boom.

Anyhoo...... please make some pro tutorials as well wen you get a chance. As the other have said, that cartoon network cut-out animation style (using bones and IK) with turnrounds is what we're all after..

  • w00t w00t!!!

Yes pls. Make a series with da same model and background. Flash style puppet with bones and rigging would be super awesome!

Finally we will get to learn from the master.. Bitey Castle forever!!!

  • Just what I needed.. Perfect!!!!

Those official Animate kick-start videos suck so badly. So confusing and inconstant!

Would be amazing if we get to see some IK and puppet style animation tutorials from you!

  • Adam, thanks so much for this!!!!

Please keep them coming.. if possible, can you make it a series that shows background design, cameras, network view (Animate Pro), cut-out puppets, IK etc.

  • Thanks alot for this mate.
