if you weanna do some real smallmouth fishing i suggest you try more rivers. fishing rivers is different than fishing lakes but once you get used to it you can get on som big smallies! they realy like that sort of rocky habitat with a good current. good luck!

@MRbassmasterman yeah just his singing sounded like tim krekel if you get some time look him up hes like my second cousin he died last year but he was a great musician played lead guitar for jimmy buffet and wrote alot of great songs.
Im going up to indiana in a couple of days to try and catch my 2nd smallmouth. Last year i went and caught 60 largemouths and 1 smallmouth, and it was supposibly a good smallmouth river.

@4josiah4 Umm I would have to say Lake Lonestar... Its not very popular but it has all kinds of structure, anything you could imagine... I like Lake Palestine... Lake O' the Pines... Pirky is good... Umm Fork might make my top 5.. Not sure I have a ton of lakes I haven't fished yet that I will be fishing soon... Falcon should be fun!
