The problem is Gretchen should realize that Danny has a genuis I.Q and has been an entertainer since he was 4, there is no way she and her boyfriend are going to look anything but kind of lame in front of HIS audience.
Danny is a JERK. Loved him for a lot of years b/c he's funny and so open about his ddrug & alcohol abuse, but anyone who'd treat the mother of his children and a woman who stuck by him through all that BS for 18 years the way he did is a total waste of skin. And for her boyfriend to sit there totally silent is pathetic. I really admire her b/c our lives parallel each other in a lot of ways~including picking cowards.
