Reason doesn't support VST's. You could use Rewire to sync Reason with another external program to then use VST's (Ableton, Cubase, Logic, Etc.). I'm assuming that from the description he is using Propellerhead Reason.

Well Combinators are actually considered to be VST instruments but in dis vid all the sounds were from Reason except my horns, thats from a VST called Mr. Sax T, I had Reason rewired to Sonar for this vid.
