Southbound - Begins at 14th Street & Irving Place, goes straight down 14th Street, turns on Avenue B, makes another turn on Houston Street, another turn on Essex, continues straight till East Broadway & Canal Street, goes straight down East Broadwayand goes under the Park Row Underpass, goes along Park Row, turns on Barclay Street, turns on West Broadway, turns on Vesey Street, turns on West Street, turns on West Thames Street and go up north and reverses back to Union Square..

Northbound - Begins at South End Avenue, turns on Liberty Street, turns on West Street, turns on Vesey Street, straight down Vesey Street till Broadway, runs up Broadway & Park Row/Park Row Underpass, continues straight down till Clinton Street & East Broadway, turns on Clinton Street, turns on Grand Street, turns on Essex Street, and follow the route that it still uses today.
