I got DiRT but I find it disappointing. The thing is that I want a rally only game (like the Colin McRae series used to be all about) instead of wasting my time on some boring random races. I didn't get DiRT 2, the first DiRT game is kinda boring because of the reasons I mentioned already.

Thankfully WRC 2010 is going to get released October 8th and it will be rally only with lots of tracks, cars and so on.

@mostwanted192837465 only thing i dislike about grid is that theres only 2 tracks for demolition derby :P and online theres always idiots who drive wrong way and then they make you total, i never mind it if i get totaled in an intersection when someone drives over me :D which happens alot... WTB much more demolition tracks and it would be awesome, the mode cars and tracks are awesome but boy theres not so many good demolition games atm. Dirt 2 is awesomest rally game so far ;D

What do you mean? Do you mean listen to non-game music while you race? If so, I don't do that anyway... The music in the game is fantastic.

i have dirt 2 and it won't allow me to listen to music when i drive.. does the music play when u drive? maybe the music only works on the 360 version.. i have the ps3 one

Hmm... Now that you mention it, I think it only plays after the races.

If you have ever played Grid on PC/Xbox 360 (don't know about PS3} by Codemasters, you would hate this game. Codemasters completely copied Grid for this game, so its the same game, just different cars, and Grid came out several years b4 this one, kinda sad that they couldnt come up with anything different

Driving in Dirt2 s totally different compared to Grid. Also Grid is poorly optimized for steering wheels, Grid 2 however runs great with a steering wheel.

Well, if you beat GRID you might want to play another game with different cars and maps, then buying DiRT/DiRT 2 is a good option.

i played this on the easiest difficulty and it was piss easy but i prefer raceing games like that i dont know why, fps's and rpg's i prefer on the hardest its odd, what difficulty where u playing it on?

Actually I found this game to be a little easier than GRiD (Another game by Codemasters). I guess they thought the first DiRT was too easy, so they boosted up the difficulty just a notch. Anyway this game is awesome! And I can already see it being a nominee for racing game of the year. Along with Need For Speed Shift and Forza Motorsport 3.
