Well FYI, and not to get into too much detail, I was stationed at Andrews AFB and was on my way into DC when i saw a Commercial aircraft fly over the highway and impact the Pentagon. I was an Aircraft mechanic and worked Near runways and airfields for over 20 years. Seen many aircraft do low level fly-bys. Although i tried to assist in the clean-up, i was not authorized in the area because i did not have clearance. I did, however see a large amount of aircraft material scattered everywhere.

"Pull" refers to a specific method of demolition, top-down. As for the countdown, a couple people said they "may have heard a countdown".

bs, NIST has not one piece of core steel showing heating above 480 degrees F. That's not hot enough to weaken it. So don't tell me about fire weakened steel. The physical evidence that would have told the tale of what happened was destroyed, and NIST didn't even have the intellectual honesty to express regret about it.

@punxsutawneybarney ..I work with steel and know how little heat it takes to weaken steel so dont tell me it takes alot of heat to weaken steel.Ask any gunsmith or blacksmith how little heat it takes..Now if you told me about seeing your shadow then I would have to take your word for it.

bs, don't go mistaking heat and temperature. Read Eagar and Musso's paper in the JOM. It says structural steel begins to soften at 425 C and loses half its strength at 650 C.

Read my lips: NIST has no core steel samples showing heating above 250 C. That's not hot enough to seriously weaken it.

@punxsutawneybarney ..The temp affects the carbon alloy and it is re-arranged so the steel loses the elasticity needed to keep it from reaching a state of deformation where it breaks.. Anyone who works with steel understands this,many architects somehow ignored this when building the WTC complex..Today they are urged to be aware of the effects of fire on steel..Read my lips.I knew the towers will collapse on 9/11/01 as did others. We were right then and you are wrong today.

The temp affects your tinfoil alloy, bs. You don't know what you're talking about. The strength/temp curve of steel has been known for a hundred years at least.

Let's suppose you're right, and the engineers didn't design the building properly. If so, since NIST doesn't call them out for it, NIST's investigation is either dishonest or incompetent or both. And then you should agree that we need new investigations.
