@Ballet4Everz it is ok charma (sp) will come back around to her. Anyone knows you can dance no matter how big you are if you do it just for fun and are not trying to become a prima ballerina with a big company. And that is what I do I dance for fun and it is great excercise, With all my health problems I cannot just go out and work out in a gym, without doing more harm than good.
it kinda looks like you're forcing your turnout at some points, which is BAD. it can really damage your knees, hips and ankles. only go as far as you can, don't overly push it, you can work on turnout, so you can improve, but the import thing ISN'T to have a 180 degree turnout, it's to be safe.
@carlyheartsdance Hey thanks I will try really hard to remember that when class starts back up in June. There are times when try to force a better turn out but i always try to turn from my hips and not my knees that was one of the first things we learned when I was little was to use your hips to turnout and not your knees.
@dncr2beee exactly (: your turnout should start from the top and work it's way down. if your turning out from your knees and not your hips you'll hurt yourself. I know it's tempting to try to push yourself to get that pretty look, but working and improving slowly is really the way to go (: good luck!
@carlyheartsdance Thanks again!!! Do you have any videos on how to improve turnout with out killing the knees or know of any really good ones My summer term of ballet starts in less than a month and the teacher who teaches is really tough. And I will be doing pointe so turn out is a must for pointe work
@dncr2beee I don't have any videos for turnout, but search strangesugarfairy, she has a video with stretches you can do to improve your turnout, and their basically all the same stretches that I use (:
Your posture is amazing!:D
