@vboytan This is rally car technology no street car and It is not an automatic like in gran ma's car. It has a sequential gearbox. Clutch is only used for road section selection and also reverse.

@vboytan No probs. Basically the driver uses the clutch just to select first gear or reverse or normal road select when not driving in rally mode you know the bits inbewteen the rally stages. When in rally mode, the driver select first and launch control for full trottle. next gears are selected in a sequential fashion without clutch as oppose to normal street cars where you can select any gear even if you should not go from fifth to second on the motorway obviously :))

i love WRC, drift, auto-X, road racing and Drag racing, each requires a different set of skills and has their own thrills you really can't compare different styles of racing. There is reasons that i can come up with why WRC or rally in general is not shown here in the states. The biggest reason is there is no market here for it. WRC requires alot of skill and attention from its drivers. I think the Amreicans that watch Nascar do not have the patience for Rally and they dont appreciate the skill that is required for it. I have never watched a rally event but i am sure that its much mre entertaining than Nascar.
