@RogueNinja16 there is absolutely no significance in their belts at all. It is just required on a military post that if you are going to be out after colors at night and in uniform you are to have a reflective belt on until colors is played again in the morning.

Soldiers were being hit by vehicles running on low lights and get friendly fire situations for being dark figures in the night. As an airman we were required to wear them around the jets so we would be a little more noticable from cockpits.

I am an Infantryman. These soldiers are badass at what they chose to do in the military. While I'd rather have an Infantryman next to me covering my ass. If i were in a situation where I would need a soldier to cover my ass, I would ask any one of them to assist me. They have a different job, that does NOT mean they aren't soldiers. So to the person who says "They are in the military, but they are not soldiers." Fuck you. Do Push-ups. They ARE SOLDIERS willing to fight for they're country.

@27Bianca well no..infantry are trained to be infantry. Artillerymen are trained to be gunners. Fighter pilots are trained to be pilots. Infantry is a trade.

In basic they are taught how to maintain and fire a weapon, and the very basics of combat soldiering. This does not make them trained infantry.

I don't care for this particuliar piece of music thats all. Country music is my kind of music. I met some of the pilots from the 131st fighter wing from St. Louis in Gulfport Mississippi where they were training in the 80s. They were damn good pilots with great support people.
