I don't understand how anyone can be so anti-Grayson. Even as a conservative, I admire this man. He comes in first term and tells Helicopter Ben that he is going to shut down the federal reserve! People don't understand HOW IMPORTANT that is and that is why people are attacking him. He, Ron Paul and only a few others are the only ones in congress who behave as if they are there representing US. I wish I had a Grayson to vote for in PA.

Look, I agree with Grayson and Paul about the FED, but this kind of crazy behavior erodes his credibilty and hurts the progress we are making on that important issue. The is an ugly sideshow that has to stop.
It is possible to be right and still behave like a gentleman. If he can't do it, I'm sure we can find someone who can.

"The Republicans want you to die" comment was completely untrue not helpful to the healthcare debate, to put it mildly.
You mentioned Ron Paul before. He has brought many previously ignored issues to the American public and he doesn't behave like a vulgar middle-schooler.
Daniel Hannan of the UK is a gentleman who is another good example of this as well.
Any fool can get himself on television, it doesn't mean he'll garner the respect he needs to persuade others to his point of view.

ive never heard of someone being called a whore by the means of being a sellout and i cuss worse than a sailor as you might say. a whore is a woman who likes to offer her body up for sexual acts on a regular basis with anyone usually. a whore also refers to a person who likes to hoard themselves with certain items or an idea.

Because I am conservative, I more often agree with republicans than democrats, but I go by principle and issues. For example, Ed Rendel was a great mayor of Philadelphia and is now a great governor. He fights the unions and believes in balanced budgets and fiscal responsibility, yet is a democrat. When he took over Phila, it was selling JUNKBONDS! During his admin, taxes went down and city services improved. Forget about labels.

K Street Whore is a commonly used term in the Beltway when referring to lobbyists. It has been used for many years.
Medical researchers who turn from pure science to work for pharmaceutical companies often refer to themselves as drug company whores.
The term whore in those circumstances refers to those who sell their professional services to the highest bidder, regardless of any ethical compromise.
That is what Grayson was saying and that is what we should take from his statement.

I hear it everywhere, from all sides. Rush Limbaugh uses that kind of language every day as do Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Keith Olbermann and many politicians of all ideologies. It is standard fare and has been so in American politics since the birth of this country.
I toss all of that aside and try to understand the issues. quite a task with all the smoke and bullshit.

On the news today they said there were things in the bailout that set up positions that have already been filled and programs funded that are exactly for the denial of treament in the healthcare that has not even passed. This is an awesome idea! I'm an independent conservative and I cringe whenever Grayson opens his mouth. I'm wondering when he's gonna start insulting school children, small animals, and other groups that dare to cross him.
