  • Loved The Flintstone Kids! Awesome, have the glasses from Pizza Hut that they gave out as a promotion!

  • in the 80s i guess they decided to make older cartoon characters into kids

  • @brianb9532

I guess it was on the same idea as making the Muppets into Muppet Babies.

  • I used to have the figures and their little vehicle/skateboard things. I never did get Dreamchip, though I do remember owning the limo. Weird. This was a Saturday Morning mainstay for me, along with Alf and the Spacecats cartoons over on NBC.

  • Epic classicness.

  • omg take me back to the 90s where everything made sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • captain CAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVEEEE MAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNN HA! that still cracks me up

  • i dont really remember this show.... remember them bein teenagers in a life like move b4.... any 1 remember that movie? i cant remember the name tho...

  • didnt they also make a series in which pebbles and bambam grow up and r teenagers?

  • no it was cartoon movie called iyabadabadoo.

  • @richeyrko hmmmm i wouldnt remember if it hit me in the face... or so my husband says! lol

  • does anybody remembers the Flintstone Kid's vitamins?

  • @aurora990 i do! every day i take them 0_0

  • @mommy6240 I will never forget the commercial as well as the vitamins Flintstone Kid's. Flintstone Kid's will help you stay strong and growing. I will never forget the song of the Flintstone Kid's vitamins commercial.

  • fucking youtube rabbit hole always sucking me in with stuff.

  • BABY DINOOOOOOOO =D

  • why is there a black kid in here? were there any black people back t hen....I must have skipped that page in hjistory class or something....

  • @The3rdHiltonSister He's a time traveler.

  • @The3rdHiltonSister lol ... What kind of history books did you read that showed that Dinosaurs and Humans coexisted in this manner?

  • Long live 90`s kids because after us the shows went downhill

  • I"ve always wondered where the HELL the token black kid came from, since I don't think there's any black people in the original Flinstones.

  • @TJTheGr8t

The Flintstones was very big on adapting with the times. Whenever something became politically correct in the world that we live in, that something was put into whatever Flintstone incarnation existed at the time. If it was on today, I am sure that there would be a token Asian Indian, a token kid in a wheelchair and maybe even a token kid being raised by a gay couple! Social Darwinism Flintstone style!

  • I freaking loved this show! I'm so ashamed that I forgot that it existed D:

  • I love this show!

  • i once tried to count all the "babies&kids"spin off shows , i came at 40 but im sure there are more (i also counted european and japanese shows )

  • I still have my Captain Caveman stuffed doll from Canada's Wonderland before it became gay and got rid of all their Hannah-Barbara stuff.

  • They need to put all the Hanna-barbara kid shows back on the air in America thumbs up if you agree ( by kid I mean where the characters are kids like this just sayin just in case someone misunderstood =) )

  • They need to put all the Hanna-barbara kid shows back on the air in America thumbs up if you agree ( by kid I mean where the characters are kids like this just sayin just in case someone misunderstood =) )

  • they need to ban all tthe crappy shows on cartoon net work and replace it with age appropriate things like smurfs, snorks, flintstones, pokemon, yugioh ( somewhat )

and add more anime! we need more toyko mew mew more lucky star

and put bratz back on barbie can go frigg themselfs somewhere

thumbs up if ur with me!

  • i loved the crossover with captain caveman and his son and the flintstones

  • @phantomhacker90 Yeah I enjoyed the cross-overs xD Like that movie where the Jetsons meet the Flintstones! :3

  • PICTURE OF HANNA BARBERA IN THE 80'S: We're stuck for cartoon ideas. I know: Let's bring back our most popular franchise, turn the adults into kids, add a blonde girl, a grouch and a token black kid. Also, let's stick in a young Sabre Toothed Tiger as a nemesis for a cute Dino. Let's not change all the gags about modern gadgets being operated by dinosaurs though.. audiences LOVE them!! Give it a new stupid theme tune and TA DA!! We have a hit, right? Right?!!

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! this is freakin' awesome, it transported me to my childhood :(

  • CAPTAIN CAAAAAAVVVVEEEMMMAAANNNN!!!!

  • @freakofevolution and son

  • I looked forward to watching Captain Caveman WAAAAAAAY more than seeing Superman or Batman. Anyone agree?

  • They sure did like making terrible cartoons in the 80s and early 90s.

  • back then it was take a popular franchise from the past and make them kids, now its take the cartoon kids of today and make them teenagers... -_-;

  • I wish TiVo existed back then. I miss so many cartoons from back in the day.

  • what was up with all the kid remakes of the old shows back in the 90s?

  • I haven't seen this intro in years! Thank you, YouTube and TheFlinstoneKids for the upload.

  • im 17 now and i wish i was in the time of 1999 to 2000 those where the best years of my life just edd ed and eddy, dexter, jonny bravo (ect) and tonami sigh THEY NEED TO MAKE TIME MACHINES NOW

  • Geez, Fred's been wearing that freakin' blue tie since he was a kid!

  • Loved this show but I will admit the theme song was truly lame. Can't beat Pup Named Scooby Doo's ;)

  • tune ounds very familiar....

  • I don't mean to be crass, but this show was all kinds of unremarkable. It was just another step in the "take a popular franchise and make them kids" method. Really, it's no different from the cartoons these days that are "so bad" for following a hollow formula heavily inspired by contemporary culture.

  • as always, amazing!

  • The kids from Flintstons

  • 0:41 - Captain....CAAAAAAAVEEEEEMAAAAAANNNN!!!

  • @TB4000

    ...and son...

  • Completely forgotten this til I saw this thing. Wonder what else is hidden in one's childhood :)

  • is the beat the same in the beginning as to the Flintstones...

  • OMG!! I USED TO LOVE THIS!!!

  • Two words: Childhood. Memories.

  • @SpaceNinja88 ,awwwwwwwwwww

  • cartoons aren't made for kids (or kids at hear) anymore... it's all this b.s. tweenie, grow up before I get old, crowd.

  • 1: Dino should have been died since he was with Fred since he was a child.

    2. Fred's mother was a she-male. How da hell did that man have a child?

    3. Did they kill the little black kid after this show? because there is not one nlack person on the adult show

  • @sheldons7: Don't take this the wrong way but you need to think before you post.

1st Dino is a dinosaur we don't know how long they could live, they might've lived a few decades.

2nd it was set back in the stoneage so not many people would've bein easy on the eyes.

also the first show was made in the early 60's when race in was a big deal and they had rest rooms & water fountains for whites only some times had for blacks.

Where this was in the late 80's when it wasn't a big deal.

  • @2groovey

No offense but I was merely looking for logic. Loved the show but watching it now confused the woopop outta me. But hey, I can dig ya explanation

  • @sheldons7

fred has to get his good looks from someone and thats his mother

and thats why he looks so manly!

  • @sheldons7

Dude. Dino was a freaking dinosaur. It's logical to assume he would have lived long.

  • I remember they were showing this show on cartoon networl like 5 years ago(i know it was on in the 80s)

  • When I was a kid I expected this to be set in like 1920/1930 BC. Even at 9, I was like, why do they have stuff modern kids have, if they were in the 60's in the original show. Still one of the best HB cartoons of the 80's. Well until the second season when they changed the voice actors.

  • I can't help but smile when I hear this song, it is such a fond memory of my childhood, I really wish they would release this on dvd.

Thank you so much for posting it.

  • So how did they adress the character who would grow up to be Mr. Slate?

  • i take charicters from cartoon shows from WAY back in the day like smerfs and i remake them into zombies and monsters and shit

  • *interested*

  • wtf Captain Caveman?? o.o

  • One thing I like about the Flintstone Kids series is that I think it gave Betty a lot more spotlight episodes than the ordinary Flintstone series did.

I also think it's funny seeing Fred know Slate since childhood while not knowing Slate's going to be his boss in the future.

  • Despite several errors, I'd say you can easily fit this into the regular Flintstone timeline.

I mean, if you can ignore Slate's name and appearance changing during the regular Flintstone series, you can ignore them saying that Wilma and Betty met Fred and Barney in high school and say they did know them since childhood.

One thing disappoints me: If they could fit in Dino and that Puss cat (who hardly ever appeared during the Flintstone episodes) why couldn't they put Hoppy in?

  • who is Hoppy? ^^;

  • The Rubbles' pet. Part dinosaur, part kangaroo. Color: Green. Appears at the beginning of Season 5.

Despite this late appearance, Hoppy appeared way more than that Puss cat did yet they couldn't put him in this series or in the Flintstone intro after his arrival.

  • pff

    pfff

I stink for not seeing the 5th season :(

  • haha mr. slate!!!

  • did marty odonell the guy who made the halo music make this theme song

  • no

    why do you think that

  • i was a 90s kid and i remeber seeing this

  • that was such a great time for cartoons, they could take any show and add "kids' to it, and there's a new cartoon

  • i never saw this show, i was a 90s kid

  • it's all about shows like Mummies Alive!!! Am I right??

  • So glad to be an 80's kid. When I was singing this my children were like Mom please! They'll never know the nostalgia

  • Simply put, one of the best cartoon theme songs! It's been in my head all these years.

  • @DJCandyManMike The best cartoon theme song, though, is the one for the 1975 version of Tom & Jerry.

  • This show was always on when I was at home with a fever on school days.

Thus, this show always reminds me of my childhood ailments.

  • I remember the song, and everything about this intro. Even that hairy guy, although never knew what the heck he was. P.S. the remote control is dope.

  • flinstones was the shit. everry series of the flinstones was beast.

  • I still remember that theme song 22 years later----talk about sad!

  • who is the blonde flinestone kid?

  • mcneal couldnve said it better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was a pretty good show

  • cartoon network sucks now

  • no joke.itz like seriously how could this posably happened. is it kuz hannah barbara die, kids are changin. times are changin. or niggaz just dont think anymo? imean seriously wit in 6 full years everything thought 2 be wat we new n loved n worked fo was murdered, muzik, cartoons, mtv, bet, south park,adultswim,C.N.,teen nick, nick @ night, tnn, new tnn, stripperella, anime, nick,Rap,sitcoms, movies

  • LOVE IT! thanks for remining!

  • being a kid in the 90's kicked ass (:

    i lovedd this show.

now all i have is hannah montana ):

  • Yes yes yes! Takes me WAY back! Makes me wish i could go back and be a kid for at least one more day! No hassles, worries, or bills. You can get up on Saturday morning at 6 or 7, eat your cereal in a bowl, and watch cartoons until noon! When noon came, that was it, and your day was officially over as far as cartoons went! We had our fun, this generation is having theirs, but they don't have Saturday mornings like we did. Plus, if they faced the same things we did, they couldn't survive!

  • Amen Brother *wipes tear*

  • @mcneal78 Well, you're so right. Watching a cartoon on Saturday morning meant so much to me in those days. I almost got up at 6 o'clock in the morning to watch cartoons, eating a whole bar of chocolate. You know cartoons like the Bluffers or the Duck Tales? The kids nowadays are not like we were then...

  • @mcneal78 i totally agree.

  • @mcneal78 Taking the toys out of the cereal box too :)

  • Love it!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • this show is the shit

  • hey fuck ya'll dis usta be the joint. i usta get up earlly all the time just to was it. fuck ya'll hataz. 5 starz

  • Quit cussin', Kid, you're no good at it.

  • nigga i aint no kid any mo. n u aint no cool nigga eitha. look a cha self fo u talk bout another.

  • Guys, can't we just all talk about our childhood without stupid pointless arguing? No Nigga, no go fuck yourselves. Come on, keep it civil.

  • good times good times

  • i remember watchin dis show when i was lil

  • I can't wait for the full episodesh

  • Yeah, when might those be coming? I loved this show as a kid, so much I even bought the comic books

  • it would be fun if you could see how the girl looks like when she sings the intro.

  • Which one is Philo Quartz (the one voiced by the only both-seasons child actor, Bumper Robinson)? Scott Menville only did second season, so he doesn't count. Is Philo the dark-skinned boy with glasses and boots?

  • This show wasn't too bad when I was little. Looking at it now, I realize one thing: Captain Caveman's kid looks like a testicle with body hair.

  • this was very nice movie. I like it

  • I think cartoon network was stupid to take cartoons like this off television. Little kids today don't stand a chance with some of the things that cartoon network is showing now.

  • @chenene91 I agree thats why when i have kids they will be watching old dvds

  • @chenene91 I agree. Today's show bore the hell outta me and makes me hate today's generation of cartoons.

  • @chenene91 i agree i was watching cartoon network the other day and a new show ad came on and its like his moms overprotective and his dads a 60,000 pound dragon. im like wait so there supporting bestiality now wth

  • @chenene91 Exactly. I'm glad to see that someone else sees something wrong with what they show on cartoon network besides me. Where's the FCC at and who's seriously sleeping on the job?! Little kids don't stand a chance with some of the things that they show now. When cartoon network first started, it was great, now it's like...Seriously, you're kidding right?

  • @chenene91 yea with those bastards ruin e.g attomic betty and ben 10 and uh... bla bla bla

  • @chenene91 It's not just what the Cartoon Network is showing. It's what they're NOT showing! Plus, if u look at the schedule, cartoons are nonexistent! That was a little kid's paradise and an escape from the reality that is the real world for about a few hours on a Saturday. How can these kids think that cartoons like Pokemon could compete with The Flintstones? SMH!

  • martin o'donnell from bungie made this

  • Best part is the first 10 seconds.
