Many years ago, I lived on the Metolius, in a teepee for a summer. It was good to see some video of the store.they have the best burgers. Unfortunately, I didnt take up fly fishing until just this year, but I think I may take a motorcycle trip back that way this summer and do a little fishing. Liked the vid and the music, thanks.
Great video guys. This is my favorite river and this video will help me through some long hard nights at work. It reminds me of my trips to the river. Bravo gentleman.
Fun video! I know the Metolius (in-laws have a place on Cave Creek) and how picky those fish can be. I've been filming all of my excursions into the Gila this past year with my motley angling crew and I hope to have some more stuff up as soon as I can make time to edit my footage. It's cool to see others doing the same.

Yo... that's rice you're cooking on the fire at 2:44. I've never tried that yet. Great vid by the way and that's a pretty sweet piece of water you're on. There's nothing like camping and waking up on primo water. There's not much better than great fishing with great friends and good food!
Oh yeah... Here in Metolius, I'll take what I can get. Trouts are very spooky & skunk days are not uncommon. Any fish at the end of my line brings a smile to my face :D

These were good times. Truly the beginning of our documented adventures and what better place than the mighty Metolius River. It was a lot of fun, great company, breath taking scenery and exciting fishing adventures.
