Every single scene in the 3 original films are memorable classics!
You can feel the hard work and passion that went into them. They are almost given life by their artists and craftsmen, engineers and of course the actors and producers.
It really does make a difference. The prequels have all the elements of Star Wars, lightsabers, space battles, aliens and strange locations.
But completely lacks the unseen soul of Star Wars, made by craftsmen and artisans, not by computer science grads.
Yes, they used CGI for alot of work in the prequels, and George isnt great at directing actors(what really let the films down) - but the prequels have a lot of practical work in there. For example, The Phantom Menace had more practical shots than the original trilogy combined.
A lot of the users of the computer technology for films are not computer grads, but simply artists who can save a word document! Look up "Puppets to Pixels" from AOTC, and you'll see past the computer.^_^
Amazing artistry those SFX guys achieved back then. Most of those effects still stand up today. The asteroid sequence in TESB is one of the best of all time.

@crissrudd4554
how is it rude to call them amateurs? amateur just means they do it for fun and dont get paid to do it.
i mean it is amateur work.

@SamusDrake You should watch the red letter media reviews for the new trilogy, it'll blow your mind.

I could barely listen to the narration for 2 minutes, let alone an hour for each film review.

I remember when Mark Hamill did a spoof of this for David Letterman with Dave cracking an egg with one hand.
