  • you favor lauren london she's gorgeous & you are too!

  • U look like lauren London!! espcially with the brown streaks in ur hair :) and wen u do certain facial expressions you look just like her!!

  • sallys has electric hotcombs as well i use an electric hotcomb before straightening it gives ur hair that sleek look as opposed to a more poofy straightened look i've been natural for 24 months and my curls are very healthy i might straighten my hair once every 2 weeks but i love using the hotcomb for a salon finished look

  • your afro is so cute c:

  • ur soo pretty

  • @SocietyIsAMess011 yes but too much weave isn't smart either since it pulls on your edges. The sew ins are an exception tho :)

  • wow it must've took you for ever... that's why i prefer to do it at the hair salone :D

  • i have the same brush that you used with the blow dryer :)

  • Hey, word of advice. You are using the wrong brush to blow dry your hair. Use a round one and keep rotating it. Doing the roots first and then the ends. As this will prevent split ends. And you're less likely to use straighteners x

  • I love your straghtner!!!

  • I don't mean to sound like a record but you do look like Lauren London and your hair color is very pretty.

  • Love your hair! Definitely look like New New (Lauren London)! Haha

  • you should get a ghd straightener, we have basically the excact same hair and eversince ive had my ghd ive been able to get it so much straightener, and i think its great for hair types like yours and mine (:

  • don't blow dry when its dry!!!

  • you are beautiful :)

  • I don't even have curly hair, I was just curious. c:

  • something about you screams Lauren London!

  • I grew up on hot combs, I like the way they leave my hair feeling.

  • i like your voice and i loooooove your face:))

  • love ur hair color. is it henna?...im getting ready to color mine so id like to know the name of your color ;)

  • I wish I had your curly hair. I mean it would take time to straighten it, but you did it so well. Le sigh.

  • hi, i want to know did you do the big chop 20 months ago when you went natural or did you let your chemical grow out? I hope you can respond to this question.

  • What heats did you use for flat iron and blow dry? how high and how low?

  • My hair is just like yours. Thanks so much !

  • Oi eu sou brasileira e amei o seu vídeo!!

  • Just a tip, if you rap your hair when you straighten it, it will last longer at first you are going to have to use alot of bobby pins but after a while it should get used to it and your hair will stay up with out the pins in it. You should also get a rape cap " do-rag" it hold it down that will help to.

  • you just freaking worked wonders on your hair!!

  • your hot wish all girls looked like you :)

  • @SocietyIsAMess011 and ur fucking stupid judging a person on just on a fucking youtube comment seriously..

  • Sanaa lathan love n basketball is her name

  • Heey gurl. I have hair just like yours. All natural and colored and curly. When people usually use their blow dryers their hair ends up kindda straight but not with me. So watching you use the comb along with the straightener gave me an idea to what i should be doing too. Oh and what heat setting was your flat iron at?

  • you look like new new from ATL

  • why cant all black girls do this instead of wear fake hair all the time seriously if they did this then maybe i would date them

  • What's the name of the product you used in the begining and what does it do to your hair ??? Please reply !!! Btw your super pretty and I honestly think you should be a model ! And I <3 your Mj shirt :)

  • for some reason you put me in the mind of Alicia Keys lol...you kinda sound like her

  • Love thee shirt BTW....

  • You have beautiful hair but have you thought about getting the InStyler?

  • YOU REMIND ME OF SANAA LATHAN <3 BUT THIS IS A GOOD VIDEO :D

  • I use a attachment comb to do my hair and it has a wavy texture and its thick. It works great and less time. I divide my hair in four sections then start the process of drying. I have found out that plastic breaks so I duct tape medal pick to my hair dryer. I know the metal will get hot but I will keep it away from my skin. Maybe that way it will last longer.

  • love how you used the comb with the flat iron, never thought of doing it like that....btw i also love your shirt ;D

  • Lauren London look a like. You are very beautiful

  • WHY WOULD ANY ONE WANNA LISTEN TO THIS TUTORIAL U ONLY STRAIGHTENED YOUR HAIR ONCE AND YOU ALREADY HAVE HEAT DAMAGE-STRAIGHT ENDS ............ GUYS ONT LISTEN TO THIS TUTORIAL

  • i love how us black girls, can straighten our hair and still have tht nice fullness and volume, where other races gotta tease there hair to get tht volume, while we dont...ha ha...lol

  • @jamaicancutie332 Unless you're like a lot of women out there, and have thin hair...like me.

  • @jamaicancutie332 correct. all non-black people have straight hair.

  • @humansforbreakfast .....lol some do

  • @jamaicancutie332 for sure, but i'm white and i have more volume than i know what to do with.

  • @humansforbreakfast true, indeed, but i think all hair types are beautiful at the end of the day, what matters is if you knoee how to work with what you got:)

  • @jamaicancutie332 i'm just saying, i'm white and i have more volume and curl than i know what to do with.

  • Not sure you're supposed to put oil on your hair before you apply high heat. Isn't that what frying is? I'd wait until after to add oil - just to be on the safe side. Once your beautiful hair is damaged by heat, you can only fix it by cutting the damage off.

    Very pretty hair!

  • With african americans we mostly have to put some kind of moisture in our hair BEFORE applying heat.

  • Michael Jackson shirt!!!!!(: I have that one(:

  • 49 ppl are bald headed .....

  • @ttis2fine20 51, 51 bowling heads AH AH AH

  • @ttis2fine20 lmfao

  • @ttis2fine20 You mean she looks like shana lathin or something like that but the one from Love& Basketball

  • its so stiff

  • i think u shud try an amika flat iron. i jujst brought one and it works very well. but it is kinda expensive but it will work for your hair because mine is the same texture. but it still looks nice tho =)

  • 3 hours!!!!! Woah o.o

  • the round brush is very damaging to natural hair, the pull of the round brush can cause breakage and split ends. My advice is to stick with the demnen(or however u spell it). The ending result is beautiful !

  • that was nice my hair is thick like yours and the heat thing is bananas and girl for the first time in my life i kept my hair straighten for a whole month. lol my guy friend was trippen out about it but ppl who were weeve prob do the same thing.

  • Im a white girl and my hair is like yours when I dry it

  • Does your hair go back to normal as soon as you watch it?

  • @EsentrikEntity yes, when it gets washed, it will be curly again.

  • Love you hair!!!! What is the color of your hair?

  • Comment removed

  • your so pretty ! ♥.♥

  • Lauren London

  • you look like new new from ATL!

  • i love your natural hair, looks way much better :)

  • She's so beautiful omg I wish I was as pretty as her

  • what color is your hair

    ?

  • Your so pretty and your hair is marvelous

  • you look like that girl from love and basketball

  • I love your hair and you are BEAUTIFUL! :)

  • Very pretty.

  • You look like a mix of Lauren London and Sanna Lathan.

  • I use ic too but my hair frizzes up when i am sleeping

  • Your pretty.

  • You should put some olive oil in your hair before you straighten it, it moisturises and protects from heat whilst making the hair much easier to straighten and shiney. If you have trouble with your hair frizzing the olive oil will help keep your hair straight for longer

  • 6) then blow dry your hair on LOW. its gonna take a min but girly TRUST ME its worth it. :) . Do the same to the top. 7) FLAT EAR AWAY HUNN!!!! . If you wanna see my result you can on twitter @Chinkeefloww . :) I wanna see it on your hair SOOO bad because its soo long and PERRTYYYYY . :) Sorry about the spam too . . .

  • Do me a favor. I want to see your hair when you do this,. ITS SOOO PRETTY BTW..

1). wash you hair (3cycles) 2). then condition it, put it in some kind of braids. :). 3) then wash it out. 4) Then part your separating the front and back. 5) then get a plush brush and brush your hair out from bottom to top. DONT PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR HAIR. NO OILS OR MOISTURIZERS. Your hair is already moist enough because of the conditioning you gave it.

  • muy bueno....i like it

  • Ur Soooooooooooooooooooooo pretty!!!

  • You look like that actress I forgot her name but she's in alien vs predator you're pretty

  • @Dawnova i think you mean nia long

  • @Dawnova sanaa lathan

  • @Dawnova sanaa lathan

  • @Dawnova Jada Pinkett Smith

  • OH YEAH! I brush out each section, one at a time, from the ends up, so the hair doesn't snag as you pull the comb through to straighten it. And would you believe the hair is actually straighter than when I blow it out?! Sorry for the spam buuuuut I'm not brave enough to post how-to vids yet LOL...maybe when I get some confidence. But give it a try! Less heat means less split ends :D and believe it or not less time with better results! <3

  • (1/2)An easier method I used that you should try that saved me almost 2-3 hours & uses LESS heat....the day before I decide to str8n my hair, I wash it, detangle with mane and tail, and moisturize then part my hair into 6 sections. Then I use the largest size flexi-rods possible and roll my hair up stretching it across the rod...then the next day Iafter the hair has air dried remove one rod at a time and str8n! The rods keep the hair out of the way until you are ready for the next section and

  • (2/2) the hair air dries with an extremely looser curl pattern. The hair that curves around the rod is actually str8 and does not need heat from a dryer to "relax" or uncurl the natural state of the hair. All you need is a brush or rat tail comb (what I used to) to glide through the hair as you flat iron, and yes you can use a rait tail with no snags if you detangle before you roll the hair. I timed myself and finished in 1 hour and 32 minutes!! But that's because I kept watching TV lol.

  • Your soo pretty :)

  • that dnt look hot

  • what find of brush are you using and where did u get it from

  • First off, I agree . . . You look A LOT like Lauren London ! Secondly, You are SOOO Pretty ! & Thrid . . . I love your hair lol

  • sexy braud

  • beautiful... but wen u r actually straightening ur hair, i have the feeling that u are really pulling it hard. did it lead to breakage or something?

  • Love the Vid. You look like Lauren London

  • When i flat iron my hair its so curly it frizz out by the time i reach the second section :(

  • You aree so pretty .

  • Finally, I see a person with the same hair type as me. My hair looks just like that when I wash it.

  • can you pls tell me what is the name of the product you put at the begining pls I got a daughter with a very curly african hair and is very difficult to make it straitght.....thanks...nice video you put on here...

  • LOVE the shirt. nice hair color

  • @alexiaaax3 ditto

  • Your pretty :)

  • i air dry my hair so i won't damage it from brushing wet hair big no no i braid it up in platts and let it dry and than apply a oil that used for pressing hair i don't flat iron i hate flat irons i like old fashion pressing combs i only get my hair press, once a month try not to put so much heat on it

  • I love your shirt. :D

  • the outcome came out soo good! (:

  • My relaxed end broke off yesterday when I washed it. Talk about me being sad.

  • wouldnt that be frizzy hair ?

  • How do you do the back without burning yourself?? That's my only fear about straighting my own hair because I cant see what im doing

  • Love it

  • @OmgGirls04 even though it's an afro, it is very curly. Afros are basicaly VERY coiled curls :)
