The skyline's tranny is too close ratio, for a car this fast the 2nd and 3rd gears need to be larger ratios.

The supra will always be my dream car for sure,2nd is the skyline for me.But The supra is better in a straight line as the skyline is better for taking corners and what not.Dont get me wrong I love both of these beasts but I will always take a Supra over a skyline simply because I like the engine more in the Supra more as well as its looks.

4 seconds advantage over the Supra...GT-Rs are awesome! Both cars are good in their own right, with GT-R's unending power and Supra's neck-breaking acceleration. What I think that sets them apart is the drivetrain. While FR cars are generally more fun to drive, AWD is still no doubt the best in circuit/rally racing due to its excellent traction.

Are you talking about the new GTR's track time on Tsukuba? That's what it sounds like. This is a different track. I don't believe the new gtr runs this track in 1.01, not even close. The new GTR is still slower than Mine's R34, at least for awhile til further development in parts and tuning.

This wasn't a competition, it was two different cars tuned to the designers tastes. Supra was designed for torque hile the skyline was meant for pure power.

actually mine's skyline is ment for pure response. the top end is horrible. the amuse supra is ment mor as a comfort car with smooth torque, not just pure torque. it actually has less torque than mine's but it probly has a higher top speed. ther was definitely mor money put in that skyline tho

Mine's actually has good top end and is known to be one of the fastest circuit street car. It will still hit 200mph. It's faster than other GTR's in 5th gear, it's an all around car, and you don't need top end in a track car. A McLaren will never hit 240mph on this track.

However, I still the all-four-wheel-drive 3.8liter 350z built by Jun Auto Mechanic will have the greatest possibility to beat just about any Skylines. I mean it is no secret.
