I am not married, have a boyfriend, and it's my first karwa chauth... i know... i have to been married or engaged .. but i love him more than myself, is that wrong?
@TheJ17M Every Chauth (4th day of the waning moon), the one after the full moon day, is considered by the Hindus to be the day of Ganesh puja. It is also called Ganesh Chauth or Sankat Chauth. Any one can fast on that day & pray to god for the peace, prosperity & health of their family. I stopped doing Karva chauth after my husband, but then Pandit Ji convinced me to fast again. My husband may not be their, but our family is still their, our children, & it's ok to celebrate them too.
what is charva chauth? never heard abt it
