Absolutely beautiful, the car speaks for as well as sells itself. With gas prices as they are, (and still rising) I can imagine that even if the owner had the money to finish the car that he would would have had to sell it simply to fill the tank. Ouch. The big oil companies get ya coming and going, even lube is oil based! HA

it IS a real shame Pete, I have been waiting for the finish of this car, i learned alot in your videos a couple yrs ago as you put them on youtube. no doubt it is a GREAT BUY. @swrnc gas prices here are approx US$5.50 a gallon, so it would cost US$27.50 to drive it 10 miles! Sounds like it would cost more than the car is worth to drive it to California for shipping ;)

Luckily I'm more of an aircooled VW man myself. I have a 23 window bus here in Sydney originally from Houston TX.

Hey Pete, I was thinking that you should host a couple car shows at your shop and open one of your doors and put an extremely restored car in there but rope it off so no one can go inside and the rest of the cars can park there for awhile then do a cruise to a specific place or something like that. Even better how about a SWRC car club of people that you have restored for that you "LIKE". Then you could promote this and get more business.
