  • Good job mate, thanks a lot.

  • 9:35 is the part i came looking for.

  • Way cool man thanks for the tutorial, I appreciate you help to do this

  • you are great, thanks a lot

  • Thanks !!!!

  • My only comment on this tutorial would be to use all your view ports. You can position the smaller comet in 2 moves... Top view then one of your side views. Top view to line up your XZ axes and then the side to line up your Y axis. QED. :)

  • @Krellik1 yea u do that first, then go into perspective view to get it perfect.

  • hey man i need to do this for a portfolio but im having problem with the first part, i did everything u said in the first part where u created the lambert and such but when i go to the sphere and click lambert2 and then turn the texture on, noting is displayed plz help as soon as possible

  • @saadaout The only thing I can think of is that you don't have the viewport high quality rendering option turned on, and you should make sure that you have the textures option enabled in the viewport. You should then be able to see the textures displayed on your objects. Hope that helps. STU

  • @deepfriedectoplasm thxs but i did find the problem but now i have another question i would like to know how i can give the fire a direction. i go to the properties but its disabled can't figure out how to able it in order to give it a direction.

  • @saadaout select your fire element on the geometry and look in the channel box, you should see three choices for fire called fire direction, (XYZ). Just change the value there, or select the fire particles in the viewport and use the rotation tool to rotate the particles where you want them. STU

  • @deepfriedectoplasm Thankyou that helps a lot, great tutorial btw what does STU stand for

  • @saadaout Glad I could help! STU is just short for Stuart!

  • why when i hit play everything goes so fast??? i already set it on 200 frames but still goes really fast...

  • @chavarrojd You should take a look at the emitter speed attributes. STU

  • @chavarrojd i had the same problem. just go to preferences (@ the bottom right) and switch it from "play every frame" to "real time" sorry it's so late but i don't think deepfriedectoplasm was very clear...

  • hey i did the same mistake as i was doing it at the same time -_- LOL

  • Aaaah nice. I really like your tutorials, you are the video copilot answer to Maya lol. I learned a lot so far.

  • hey dude i tired to do this i was going fine and all then when i got into hypershade it kinda stuff up like when i use the default it goes into connection editor so what do i do?

  • Wow bro, you're real good at tutorials, and thanks for this one :D You just earned a fan haha xD
