@iCARNACKi Well thats a load of shite. This is a good song, but there are so many better bands under this genre in the UK. For instance the ones you named...
why isnt shinobi vs dragon ninja on my related videos section after watching this? didnt youtube watch kerrang whilst the twin towers were burning...... sorry but this song was on kerrang all the time when that happened.
@sharryhanker1210 Hundred Reasons haven't broken up.. have they!? Reuben, on the other hand, are another sorely missed South-east band. Reuben come back!
@bobbyprince890 Hundred Reasons are still together, but relatively inactive, apparently due to the general life commitments of the band members. I'm sure they'd like to do more, they just don't get the chance.
They split up to go their own separate ways. I saw them for my first gig when I was 13. I'm now 21. I was also at their last gig, AMAZING. But they are planning a reunion in a few years I believe.
@SmashedUpFetus Because despite the fact they're not that heavy compared to a lot, it's still music that makes your head go. Makes mine go as well, and I listen to stuff like Behemoth so I know heavy.
I miss HIFH... Gutted I never got see them live, even after asking them personally to tour Australia. There sound would've been very popular here if they ever got the exposure they deserved...
is it jsut me or do they look like they are scared or dont know what they are doing? not being mean i love this band but am i the only one who notices or thinks that?
i saw symposium do this track a couple of times at some of their later gigs before will and joe formed hell is for heroes, it was called something like "the lighthouse" think the chorus was different. they also did "you drove me to it" in symposium too. been trying to get a copy of the unreleased symposium album for years. no luck so far!
I was lucky to see them twice in four months bkac in 2003 (Manchester in May, Leeds festival in August), and they remain one of the best live bands I've ever seen. I've still only ever listened to The Neon Handshake as well, are the last two albums any good?
It's very interesting that the British post-hardcore scene hundred times better than their American counterparts. Why Fightstar, Hell is for Heroes remain unnoticed, that is one of the biggest mystery...
becouse they splite not long after ther 3rd album neon hand shakeat least 5 years a go maybe longer remour is that the drummer shagged the bass guys sister!!
@Amomentofstillness Fightstar were good before their latest 2 albums. Just not as raw as Hell is for Heroes. (I like both but prefer HIFH) They do belong to the same genre and they are both Post-Hardcore, other examples you may like, Rival Schools are good, another obviously Post-Hardcore band.
@Sylvanranger Good or Bad Fightstar aren't a post hardcore band, well not the type of post hardcore i've listened to. Rival Schools are decent but not as good as Quicksand
@gyurika92666 Please don't say that, especially on a comment on this song. Fugazi, at the drive-in and drive like jehu...really? you just insulted some great...great musicians and tbh this music is bland as hell.
@TheModCon i dont get what you mean. are you trying to say this band arnt as good as at the drive in? each to thier won but i dont agree, soundtrack of highschool. neon handshake and ideas (by hundred reasons) are two of the best albums of all time imo
symposium = hell is for heroes = two of the my favorite band's started the whole thing for me.amazing and night vision is one of the best songs ever very underrated band.
holy crap had to google the lyrics to remember who sang this, remember nearly buying this album back in the day(when people used buy albums),only i'd always have to choose what to spend my savings on,some mad nostalgia !!!
i love this video, and the only song i like from them; cause the video. its epic. they look so dull and normal, but rock so hard. gotta love the enthusiasm and effort they put into it.
I had never seen the video before and it really ruins the song when you listen to it and watch the video! Not cause it's cheaply done, just cause they look really douchey the way they're thrashing around. Looks v.unnatural
yeah, i just watched the one for Night Vision and thought the same thing... I think it's a thing that was "cool" at that time with all the NuMetal and NuRock groups moving like that to show HOW MUCH they are into their own music.
As oppossed to what? Straightening our hair and showing the camera how pretty we look by standing perfectly still at a certain angle? Get the fuck out, dickshit.
nope, that's just another stupid trend. All that "Emo/Scene" crap has made most people forget how awful most of that NuMetal posing was. Same happened from Thrash Metal to NuMetal for example. It's always something you just realize in retrospect.
