sata is much better. i would recomend reinstalling windows xp. i remember getting a new motherboard and it was worse than my old pentium 3 so i took it back and they said try reinstalling xp, so i did and i tell you what the result was alot better

hey i got one question !i have a mother board that recovery key is f11 and i had to replace it with one with key 1 recovery option ! well ! theyre the same mother board but the new one i think runs xp and i have a vista home primium ! to run recovery it won't do it ! is there any way to change or upgrade the motherboard just like the old one !? make it compatible with my system ! would you let me know ! u seem smatter thand me ! ^__^!

@vahescobar Yes, the motherboard can be replaced I am sure. You would have to take your computers side cover off and see which motherboards would fit and work with your other stock components. I am sure there is a better way to fix it than just replacing it though. Sorry for such a late reply, your comment never entered my inbox.
