This is one of my favorite Python sketches. It's like a sequel to the parrot sketch. "I'm still putting a tuck in the Airedale, and then I've got the frogs to let out." LOL
Actually this sketch came before the dead parrot sketch I believe. This sketch was part of the first seasons. One of the first few episodes if I remeber correctly.
Oh strike that i was wrong. I apprently completely blocked out episode 8 which is weird because I love the hermit sketch in that episode. Guess that's the last time I watch all the episides in one sitting. Everything starts to meld together after that.

There seem to be some moments when Cleese and Palin were close to cracking up.
See 1:02 to 1:12 (especially Cleese) and in the beginning right after "I'd like to buy a cat..."
Great sketch!

Cleese also looks close to cracking up when Palin does the "beak of your own choice" bit and then rattles the box.

Yeah, I'm surprised some one in the 'audience' didn't laugh when Palin said "We're fresh out of parrots.'

@Inferno838 This episode was filmed one week before Dead Parrot was first aired.
