This universe is BEAUTIFUL indeed, no words to describe it. I like this move because it stretches the human creativity...a beauty yet has to be discovered....But don't forget that Earth ranks in the list of beauties on the universe :) N i am proud to be here and see it for myself :D
@S0Iari Well, you really don't want to be a cat or a mouse or an insect or a floating jelly fish. Existence like that would be meaningless since an animal is barely evolved beyond the threshold of self-awareness. I would prefer to have a thinking brain in order to absorb and appreciate the meaning of life and the significance of our own existence in a pointless and endless universe. However, I share your feeling. :-)
@MrVuHNguyen EVERYTHING very much has a self awareness. Everything from the mosquito to a rock to a cat or a mouse has a full awareness of life and self at a cellular level. Nothing is more evolved than the other, it all just vibrates at different frequencies. Everything is all one. Everything is all made up of the same material, the same "life force" if you will at a cellular level. Everything is fully aware of it's existence, we just aren't yet evolved enough as a whole to understand that yet.
@MrVuHNguyen Yes, of course rocks have cells. And Atoms, and everything else that every other physical object in our reality has. Look into it for yourself. Everything is the same, just vibrating at different frequencies.
@ElevatingConscious rocks don't contain cells. Only higher life-forms contain cells. Although, it is true that all is resonance. A single consciousness dreaming itself. Not all things contain self- awareness. The fabric of the matrix is mostly unconscious but still a resonance of mind. The higher life-forms have awareness/self-awareness/super-awareness. We are transitioning from the awareness of ego to the awareness of one.
@S0Iari Given the right conditions, you will comeback to life again, in another planet, another galaxy. The basic ingredients of life is everywhere in the universe, and we are just the manisfestation of it. When you see the big picture of it, you see that we are always there, in space, and in time.
I thought that this scene was so beautiful! And, as she gently fell into her fathers loving embrace, that scene was worth the price I paid for the ticket to see the movie. But, I loved this scene because I have discovered that this is the closest representation of the Reptilian Aliens that humanity has, and one day they will reveal themselves to us. But, for now, (like the alien told Jodie Foster's character), "Small moves [humanity], small moves":)
@pupu562 Yes, but they also took his form because, in a way, they are her father. There are so many truths that we, as a species, have yet to realize. There are so many that we have yet to discover...
Disappointing ending. All that over acting and the aliens still want to play the hide and seek game. "Yes humans, we contacted you to let you know we are better than you, now go. Bye the way we will make you look like a crazy person when you get back by erasing all the proof this actually happened. Haha!"
@KLRJUNE If you want to see advanced future human civilizations, there are plenty of other sci-fi movies to satisfy your needs. This one is focused on the present.
Well I would hope that in the event that "contact" like this is made, we have the ability to leave bronze age mysticism out of it, but the fact of the matter is; if we were indeed to stumble upon a signal from extraterrestrial life and build a machine to make contact, a lot of people in this world wouldn't be able to see the obvious fact that their religious objections were fundamentally undermined by the presents of the signal in the first place.
@woodb51 There shouldn't have been any discussion of god or a lack thereof. I just wanted them to explore what would happen if we actually stumbled upon extraterrestrial life. Like I said, however, the part with this scene is free of that shit so it's okay.
I JUST CRIED :"(

@ElevatingConscious Self-awareness in a rock? You wrote, "A rock has a full awareness of life and self at a cellular level"
OMG! This is new to me. A rock has cells!
You really need to have your head checked out!
