@vne1981 They get marinised before we deploy them to see. It's really slippery stuff when trying to do a pre-flight! Plus engine compressor washes etc...
@ClearedToLand7 Yes, but that doesnt give the same amount of protection as factory marinisation, under the paint and internal sealant. As in the Seahawk.

Those blades are designed to withstand 20mm cannon fire.
Only thing it could've hurt were the turbine engines.
