Does the G-10 use a 13-pin cable? I know it's designed to go with its own rackmount module, but I was wondering if it's possible to hook it up to a 13-pin guitar synth or something similar like a Roland GI-20. There's very little information out there about the G-10.

No it does not! It has special multicore cable which goes from guitar to the G10C module. This system is OK, not perfect.

The best Ive tried is ZTAR system as good as keyboards, fast, reliable.

Your playing is amazing; it is where I want to take my own direction. I listen to this almost everyday now. I have listened to every guitar synth out there, and this is the best one that I have ever heard; it is hard to imagine one sounding more natural. I could not believe when I checked and found that Yamaha had discontinued this. What in the world were they thinking; they could have revolutionized the way that we play music! (This synth is miles beyond that trash that Roland is putting out.)

very funy sound like akai wind controler ^^ cool strange instrument, it's just a différente way to controle midi data, than the roland gr 20 on guitars, or on a chapman stick it's fabulous to maybe one day there some fully digitaly band ^^ with midi controler ^^.

It seems like even the slightest tap on the strings plays at full volume, i notice your not picking at all. This seems like it has both it's advantages and disadvantages.

Can anyone who owns one of these tell me if it can bu tuned for left handed playing (not left hand only) I know all the strings are about the size of a plain G or maybe a D (I played one upside down when they first came out) the expression arm looks good
