  • I like how it goes back under the frame

  • this video was posted in 09, over the 2 and a bit years has the mod caused any problems

  • Revo's suck

  • @RespawnOmega My bro has a revo 3.3 and I got the hpi savage x 4.6... My brother drove the revo into a tree... He broke the transmission... I laughed... Thats my story

  • i thought a tmaxx was a 2-stroke. 2-strokes need the fat pipe.

  • youre gonna rip it off if u do wheelie

  • u wll regret it when u have loads of oil built up in the metal pipe!

  • I like it good fix to a nasty problem

  • Didn't sound too good, if you really want an exhaust such as that, go for a Revo :D

  • Why the fuck didn't you just put the exhaust deflector on?

  • PLEASE TELL ME SIZE OF COPPER PIPE

  • im a noob at rc but if ur engine is too rich is it more high pitched and if its lean it makes a low pitch noise??

  • @headshotFAIL erm kinda, i send you some links for tuning :)

  • @headshotFAIL Nope...just the opposite. If its running rich... you will see lots of smoke and will sound like its trying to die. If its running lean, you will see very little smoke coming from the exhaust and sound like its screaming . One thing to always watch is your engine temperature. I dont run my engine over 220 degrees.

  • @headshotFAIL What will happen if your engine is rich, is it will sag when you punch the throttle. But deliver consistent and predictable power, although not that much. The engine will be harder to stall out, generally.

If it is lean, it will die or sputter when the throttle is punched, it may idle erratically. Also delivering differing terrible performance. Overheating generally. Too rich is better than too lean.

  • That's nigger rigged

  • why didn't you just get some suspension covers man!

  • Comment removed

  • i cant believe you actually put that on there. that is a horrible mod.

  • Hey man! Just a tip; instead of the uphill climb for the residual oil, run it out and under the chassis because oil will build up to a certain level then it will choke it out.

  • @MegaCophater aye. maybe a turndown at or near the R/e

  • @yamahonkawazuki Just better to run it out, under then back. I have that design, but just routed in between the the shock A-arms under the chassis.

  • @MegaCophater if it were me, id run it down. so it doesnt come outside the body line of the truck. , BUT FWIW he did prettyy good. seems to run decently. and these lil engines are PICKY lol

  • @yamahonkawazuki Aye, i've got me one, shes very picky when the exhaust stinger is extended out, gotta tune it for better performance. Mine is turned down into the chassis hole i drilled myself, then i attached a silicone tip, thats the way its being run now.

  • That's awesome. I don't know why they don't come that way new. Makes way more sense to run the exhaust out the back where it won't get the truck covered with oil.

  • Awesome idea.....looks pretty killer !

  • a large part of a two stroke engines preformance is the shape of the exhaust changing the shape will definatle not help your engine preformance

  • @ReyMrBan He did, in no way shape or form, change the shape of the exhaust.....all he did was add length to it with the brass tubing, the shape of the exhaust is still the same.

  • @taz1175 actually was changed. by length. which did change it . btu the engine didnt seem to mind hardly

  • @yamahonkawazuki - Your Words - "Tired of cleaning the rear suspension each time after using my T-Maxx, I decided to modify the exhaust system. I used bronze tubing and then paint it with heat resistant paint. It works very well, the sound is a little different but the performance was not affected at all."

No, it didn't change the exhaust at all...actually, it changed the exhaust 'header' "by length"......which then of course "the engine didn't seem to mind hardly." ;-)

  • should have made it duel exhaust

  • @maxpain5543 my friend tried that and it messed up with the temp so bad that it cracked the connecting rod

  • @xRcRaCeRx That has nothing to do with the temps and having/getting a cracked connecting rod.

  • nice

  • can i buy 1 from u?

  • man tune it so it doesnt change gear so quick

  • doing that creates a los in power and puts more strain on the engine, just a helpful tip:)

  • man that changes to 2nd super quick , maybe tune it so it can rev out a little more in 1st

  • @schweitzer4183 I agree

  • if you heat the pipe up first it wont flatten like that.

  • thats plain stupid! all the condensation will get stuck in the low part of the pipe and rust it out or bog out ur engine!! ur so dumb

  • @tylerwalker2

1st: Copper does not rust unless it is in direct contact with a dissimilar metal for long periods of time.

2nd: If the tube does become clogged (highly unlikely). All ya gotta do is take it off and clean it.

3rd: This was a very nice mod to help channel the exhaust somewhere more desirable.

4th: Dumb, is a word to describe someone who is not smart enough to see a problem and design a solution to fix the problem. Quite smart if you ask me.

  • @schweitzer4183

    nicely put.

  • yr a dome ass

  • You just gave me a good idea! i have always wanted rear exhaust on my T-maxx

  • it still dosnt work i have rear exhast on my revo and the back still gets covered in oil

  • I'll bet it gave it more low end power and killed some top speed? I really like the idea though... Nice job !!!

  • very cool

  • looks sick

  • wered you get that roll cage???

  • @forgoteness2 i have one almost identical to it... i modified it thow. and took some bars off because it was too heavy

  • blar,blar,blar......blar...sounds shit mate "chuck it in a burning bin"...

  • Thats a cool idea but: Thats exactly the reasen why they make exhaust deflectores to point the exhaust away from the tires and suspension. I've got a deflector on my savage and it works fine. It is tho cool having the exhaust at the rear but maybe try to lead the exhaust inside the shell and have it more hidden. If you not racing its fine but I suspect such a long tube will generate tonnes of back pressure.

  • thats a good idea but it looks gay try to hide it more!!

  • how did u attach the copper tubing to the muffler

  • I made a small cut longitudinally in the pipe and held it with a clamp.

  • Hey sounds waaaaay to rich

  • @hemicuda98 its better to run them rich

  • @hemicuda98 Could be rich, proly just the way it sounds with the extra piping.

  • @hemicuda98 Not just sound but your truck is running rich if smoke is coming out of the exhaust.

  • Great job i going to try that myself.

  • sounds cool but looks dumb bend the exaust mount and make it go in the shell not out side

  • @TheYamahaarcticcat wow-you fail at life. stay in school!

  • @afftonpimp why the fuck do i fail it looks stupid with a big hose coming out of your shel and it works fine for me

  • the whole fucking purpose it to get exhaust out of the shell

  • out an exuast tip on it drr fucking cock sucker

  • make some stacks for it! it would sound bad

  • look at my videos of my truck with a stack, will have a video of it running with smoke soon too cold here for it

  • Ke esporro leck!

    vo fazze tb HeHe

  • nice i have been trying to fix me up one but couldn't get it to fit right but nice vid

  • dude rear exhaust is way better

  • looks coool

  • Nice mod!!, I tried to mod me a str8 pipe for my 2.5.sounds crazy, but I couldn't get it tuned right.Check it out.

  • 0:31 / 0:50

  • cool

  • Nice mod sounds great
