  • If there is life out there, they are better off without us. If we are superior to them, we will drive them into extinction for sure. It will start out as observation and study, then poachers will kill them for fun and money

I mean for god sake, there are so many animals on this planet (Siberian Tigers, Lions, Sharks, White Rhynos) almost extinct and they are still hunted and killed for money and fun.

  • damn it's 2012 yaw youtubers best belive i'm getting the heel the hell of this planet

  • And they say youtube is full of pointless videos.. Sure showed them!

  • wtf are the circular lights at 2:18 and 1:58?

  • Life finds a way :)

  • Has it ever crossed your mind that they might be looking back at us all the same when we look at those planets?

  • @BlakeGripling I do believe so

  • 78 Aliens dislike this video

  • @yasirnori mean mexicans?

  • @djplace16 Space aliens I meant

  • Where humans can go in future.. My Earth is always amazing...

  • M-stars seem to me largely unsuitable for life. They tend to be variable (and have a bit of a temperament in general in terms of radiation, solar flares etc.) And their habitable zones would tidally lock planets even if they WHERE stable.

It's possible a tiny fraction of particularly pleasant M-stars might host life, but I'd dare bet money on the proposition that most of them are dead and that it's really all about F, G and K stars for good life-supporting suns.

  • @TheSkunkCat

I think life... it'll be fairly rare, the vast majority of it will be microbial, and the vast majority of what's not microbial will be animals only. (Which is consistent with how the earth itself has been for most of it's existence.) And not all intelligent aliens will (or will be able to!) develop technology, and many of those who do will probably wipe themselves out as we seem to be doing.

There's probably not much out there to talk to. But there's probably life here and there.

  • this makes me want to play Spore over and over.

  • Gotta love astronomy.. since this video, scientists have discovered 2 more planets orbiting Gliese 581.

  • Its too bad i'll never live to see us go to another planet like our own. even if we found a planet that "could" have life, it would lake thousands maybe million of years to travel there even if we traveled at a million miles per hour

  • Thats a joke...The space is unlimited big so there is a planet where is life trillions of kilometers from here!

  • If there is a end to the universe? its distance will never be encountered or met by our technology. Earth is just a grain of sand on a beach of moving matter. If there is a GOD?

why would he create such a vacuum, if their isnt a God only a big bang forever expanding?

then we are nothing more than cosmic dust with a consciousness .??????

  • WHY? travel to other planets trying to escape the problems we caused to our own. Even

if we could find another place to live we would bring with us those very same problems.

Wars..Bombs..greed..polusion..etc. Lets try and fix planet earth enough to be content

    and productive.

  • I feel The Earth is a very special planet, more special than people realize. Man is putting so much energy into finding another planet to live on instead of focusing on the earth to their fullest compacity. I do understand trying to find kindred spirits in this universe, but man only seeks other planets as he is destroying her.

The Earth is very liken to our bodies, if you don't take care of it, it turns on you. Hence more frequent tornados, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc.

  • Our greatest weakness on a global scale is our failure to see our potential. Unfortunately, we are too busy fighting each other over our traditions and belief systems, we are incapable of comprehending the larger picture. Fuuuuccccking frustrating eh? Cheers to our potential, hopefully we smarten up soon!

  • @monkster9 I don't want to start a flame war but, I think Religion is holding us back

  • @thepwnedninja Certainly can't disagree with you on this one!

  • There are already aliens hellbent on destroying the Earth. They come in the form of Government and Corporations.

  • Come on guys, do you REALLY think there's only ONE planet in the un-ending space?

Imagine it. All you can imagine it, cause it isn't true.

  • i am obsessed with watching humanities futures and my own i want to live long enough but it wont happen *sigh*

  • @Draguinclan You should check out "Children who remember previous lives"... You never know! Maybe we'll all "live" to see the future!

  • This is just amazing.. I just hope I live to see humanty landing on one of does planets

  • @ThisIsLochness unless we learn how to move at the speed of light, it's probably not gonna happen for millions of years (if were still alive ofc), sucks it won't happen during our lifetimes

  • @ThisIsLochness Long distance space travel is impossible. Why? Because unlike in the movies, you can't create artificial gravity on spaceships. To simulate the gravity on Earth inside a spcaeship you would have to build a spaceship with the mass of the Earth. Of course that's impossible. You can't travel in space for years or decades being in zero gravity. Your body wouldn't last long. Sorry, but long distance space travel is quite impossible.

  • @thegoosebrain 100 Years ago, people said powered flight was impossible.

    Just sayin.

  • @thegoosebrain Well... Everything is impossible until it has been done... Like flying

  • @ThisIsLochness unlikely.

  • @soto3sa Most of the "help the world" organizations are glorified ponzy schemes..on average about 10% of the money goes for foreign aid while the so called "non-profit" wastes the rest. We have a corrupt government with underfunded medicare, social security, and the irs is stepping up audits to suck more of our lifeblood so they can waste it on these pointless wars and wasteful programs. If you want to help the poor, start by making your country strong again and prosperity can then be shared

  • There's carbon monoxide in Mars's atmosphere sooo... @Desaletor ...go ahead and suffocate.

  • I hope there is live somewhere, then we can have a super liquid milkshake!!!! Thumbs Up if I'm right!!!!!!!!!

  • "If life doesn't work out on this planet"...if we make this planet uninhabitable as a result of our behavior, what reason do we really have to believe that we would do any better on another planet (especially since the human race tends to be remarkably resistant to learning from its mistakes)?

  • Such a world will never be found. It would be of great help if they could invest the money they waste in researching for this planets, on food for the millions of people around the globe that do not have what to eat or a house or medicine. For those excited about what this people are doing, do not lose sleep over what it would be like because IF they find something, I'm sure only the people with the means to pay for a trip like that would be able to inhabit such planet. God cannot be copied.

  • @soto3sa well if god just created earth and not the universe who did then? religion is corrupt, making people not understand the real meaning of life.... quantum physics suggest that from ONE particle everything in the universe was created and are all sub particles of that one particle meaning everything in the universe has a relation. In spiritualism they say god was body of water and as soon he had that conscious thought about him self beams of life was given off in all directions, thats god.

  • @bbbbbbLunTeDDDDDDD The question is, who will be found more ignorant? God created everyhing that exist. If you would take a time to read the bible, you would find that many of the great discoveries pertaining earth were mention in this book long before any of the scientist found out. For example; the earth being round and the fact that it doesn't rest on anything which is opposite to what great thinkers thought and many apccepted. Research before calling people ignorant.

  • @soto3sa There are more than adequate resources available to feed the world already. The problem is all these third world savages who have more children than they can support. It is not our duty to support THEIR children when they behave like ignorant animals rather than responsible human beings. We have a similar problem in the united states with our welfare system which is abused by lazy, useless animals who refuse to work so the rest of us support them for life.

  • @alphakraker thats a very dim attitude you have there.. can you speak for everyone who is on welfare? and what about those in power who abuse the tax and financial systems and hence the rest of us support them for life as well, why not have a dig at them?

  • @mattos000 Excellent point!

  • @mattos000 In fact, I have had more than a dig at the current tax code and its beneficiaries. GE for instance paid ZERO federal taxes last year due to their overseas business and accompanying tax loopholes. The irs and many leech like federal agencies need to be abolished imo. We have a global crisis cause by greed on the parts of jpmorgan, goldman sachs, fannie and freddie...Having said this, our "entitlement" systems are going bankrupt as well, we can't afford anymore leeches

  • @alphakraker Dear friend, just last night I saw in the news that more people than you would ever care notice are dying because of lack of food. Not because they are savages but because they happened to be born in a country where they did not choose and that is not able to support them. War is mostly the responsible for these tragedies. Just because it has been easy for you it doesnt mean it is easy for the rest. By the way, would you be able to afford that trip to another planet???

  • @soto3sa Those savages would not be overpopulated if they exercised some human constraint. I pity the children, but the adults should know better. I can't complain about my childhood, but nothing was ever given to me..I have worked very hard for my current lifestyle and didn't cheat or use my father's position for gain. I worked while getting both of my degrees and invested my own money in stock options when I was 24. Hard work and perseverance is what has been lost around the world

  • @alphakraker Man, it is har to read the way you think of people. I'll feel sorry when you discover you're doing wrong because it would be too late. Congrats for your achievements. Life has ups and downs. Make sure you'll have someone to reach out a hand.

  • comics journeys u scary

  • That's all these planets need, Humans invading them.

  • we found one new planet 1 month ago.

and also water in mars is frozen and only found in the northern part of mars.

    P.S a 6th grader said dis

  • Its human hubris to believe we are special and "unique" amongst the near infinite permutations given to the universe this is why I do not subscribe to many of the main stream believe systems that believe that we are special and unique

  • @Nerfherder3 It doesn't make it any less real.

  • @soto3sa Thats your ego talking bud

  • @desaletor, I almost forgot when air thickens and temperature rises, frozen water in the soil will thaw and come to the surface. We would have lakes and possibly oceans. Plants could then grow with a little help, we would have to add certain elements to make that happen. Plants produce oxygen, we add nitrogen and pretty soon you have a livable world.

  • @desaletor If Mars could be heated, ie by solar collectors, the soil will out gas CO2. This will thicken the atmosphere. If we could get the pressure to say 650 milibars ie 2/3 earth pressure, you could stand on the surface with just an oxygen mask. Now , we will have to create a magnetic field, but that's way easier than creating a breathable atmosphere.

  • This was amazing.

  • NASA has now found 100 billion planets in our part of the Mikyway.

  • get prepared to colonize jupiter

  • Does anyone know the name of the movie shown at 03.35?

  • Logicaly, Earth is not a planet... It is the moon of the Sun, just people for some reasons decided to call it as a planet :]

  • I agree that we should start planning Mars colonization now. Lots of negative effects are the result of human over population. Even if everyone teaches themselves not to do harmful things to the planet, human population will eventually grow pass sustainable threshold. But most likely we'll begin destroy ourselves and the planet before we get to that point.

  • @zickkun

That's already being planned (reducing population by 9/10) through nuclear war and diseases such as the ebola virus.

  • First things first: a permanent, multi-national space station on the moon. Small steps...

  • @Scrumpilump2000 Forget multinational. The people of Earth should unite under one banner if we want to make it anywhere.

  • Stupid

  • im high as hell dude

  • this is amazing

  • Did I understand correctly if I were to say that Planet D was the most promising one?

  • you know what i thing the reason why we are safe because of god im christian people who dont believe in god dont judge me cause i will never judge you

  • it true because i learned that in like 7 billion years our sun will eat earth and the human race will cease to exsist unless we come up with a plan to move to a different planet....but if not us and youtube will cease to exsist so dont worry its in 7 BILLION YEARS and im not bull shitting u its true look it up

  • @Pinkpoddle4321 5, 6 at most actually.

  • I can see people discuss what we should focus on, staying/leaving.

To be honest, we're so many people, we could actually focus on many things at the time. There will always be issues, but life is about solving this issues, and we have a pretty big team here on earth, so we'll make it work!

  • This really fills me with joy and hapiness. Serious guy's, what if there was a planet like this that we could actually move to? The whole world would at/think different! :D What if we had a new chance to start a new life?

  • earth like planet and earth like star hmmmm.......

  • I think the first plannet we will occupy will be mars, since it had water be4. Then its magnetical shield was disrupted and solar radiation swept the surfece of mars. If we find a way to get mars its magnetical shield back, we might put mars back into shape and turn it into an earth like planet.

You may think its too cold on Mars, but that can be fixed by putting CO2 in it, like we're doing it on earth today. Ofc this would take centurys to finnish.

  • @Desaletor Its going to be difficult as to get the field back we have to go deep within Mars itself...the core..

  • @Desaletor not logical. We will adopt to planets, or live underground.

  • @Desaletor i think its a much complicated method than that mate or else it would have been easy

  • @Desaletor thres no O2 in mars ,your aware of that -_-

  • @Desaletor They're already doing that. It will take a couple of years. (30)

  • @Desaletor Dude, you are talking about restarting mars molten core. Ya dude, sorry to break it to you but mars is just a bit smaller then earth and i'm pretty sure us humans with our little space craft and nukes can't do that. It's just too big of a task.

  • @Brock1812 That kind of thinking wont get us anywere you know. We humans allways find a ways to go around things, we might come up with something revolutionary sooner or later.

  • @Desaletor i'm not trying to be pessimistic. i'm being realistic. Even if we had some sort of groundbreaking discovery that could help turn mars into another earth it would take probably something like a thousand years before it is even remotely hospitable. Also, that's IF it can even be done....It would be like bringing a dead dinosaur back to life after 65 million years of decay.

  • @Brock1812 I agree with you there that it would take along time, but hey. Where were we 100 years ago? were we are now... so much had changed, what was imposible then is everyday now. What about next 100 years, next 250, next 500? It makes me wonder what kind of tech we will have then (if we wont destroy ourselves that is)

  • @Desaletor ya true

  • i got bored after 4 minutes...

  • C'mon guys, it's infinitely more difficult to travel to another planet than to fix the problems that we have in our own!

  • yeah we ain't going anywhere unless we can warp time and space.

  • @xSniperStreakHDx Congratulations!! But that's just the start!

  • @slimshadyqwe suuure... you can get any planet 20 billion light years from here and ill take europa!!

  • so if the universe is never-ending, meaning there probably infinite planets, does that mean i can buy my own planet for a dollar ಠ_ಠ

  • @slimshadyqwe

It means there's a planet made of dollars.

  • im 15 years old and i know how to universe was made and black holes work damn youtube... ur awesome

  • @xSniperStreakHDx well im only ten and i know that

  • @xSniperStreakHDx im 14 and i know how to make your mom moan and get her pussy wet

  • @SuperZackdavis you behave like a 13 yr old good job

  • @xSniperStreakHDx The new education system, named Youtube.

  • @xSniperStreakHDx hey that's cool, I notice alot of comments of young people on youtube on interesting subjects. You have not fall into the mainstream braindead crap most of the youngsters are.

  • @xSniperStreakHDx Exactly the same here, but I got something from National Geographic too

  • @xSniperStreakHDx i knew that when i was 7.

  • QUE ESTUPIDEZ..!!! NO LA PASAMOS BUSCANDO ALTERNATIVAS PARA CUANDO ESTE PLANETA YA NO NOS SIRVA PARA NADA...AVANCE EN LA CIENCIA??? POR FAVOR;YA SE NOS HA DADO UNA OPORTUNIDAD SIN TENER QUE BUSCAR 20-50-100 AÑOS LUZ!!! NUETROS PIES ESTAN EN ELLA TODOS LOS DIAS DE NUESTRAS VIDAS...SE NOS OLVIDA QUE HERMOSO ES,Y SE NOS OLVIDA LO IMPORTANTE QUE ES CUIDARLO;NUESTRO "HOGAR"...Y SE NOS OLVIDA QUE ES EL UNICO QUE TENEMOS Y QUE TENDREMOS HASTA QUE LA MISMA ENERGIA QUE NOS DIO LA VIDA,NO LA QUITE...!!!

  • i think the planet D as well as in 17:24 i will choose that cause this is the oni planet that was nice to be live like earth i wish earth bring humans to planet D and survived in another galaxy den our human race wont be finished when the sun become Red Giant when that time the earth will be as dried as nth

  • In what demension do we live in

  • @TheWebster7 the obvious three we know of and time...

    duh

  • How'd he know my eye was naked?!

  • Uh if it is a red dwarf then doesnt that mean in a few million/billion years it will go supernova and like eat that planet

  • @Blopdomia you're talking about a red giant

a red dwarf is extremely small and therefore can last hundreds of billions, even trillions of years, so...

  • If you think about it most of this "space science" is PURE SPECULATION. Humans still don't know shit about the universe.

  • @CainmosniMirrored We do know that The Universe has no boundaries.

  • @187dabeast we know that the universe is full of melanin...which is the main ingredient to humans (black people) having dark skin. WE SHOULD LOOK MORE INTO THE UNIVERSE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR ORIGINS THAT THEOLOGY HAS FAILED TO MAKE SENCE OUT OF!!!

  • 2:00 Is That Earth ? Is'nt Coruscant ?

  • i wish i was born in the future...

  • I come from Planet Namek

  • @hanes100 then you don't have a PENIS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....moving on...

  • There is a planet about 600 lightyears away from earth that has the same surface temperature/features. But it is insanely far away and we won't be going there anytime soon.

  • There's also GJ 370, which is an orange star about 30 light years away that has a planet orbiting it in it's habitable zone.

  • thank you for this awesome video.

  • i only comment to get to the top comment :)

  • the dislike bar is like justin biebers penis

  • why don't we just take care of the one we have....

  • Calcium??

  • Worst name ever! Gliese 581. Prefer Earth v1.2

  • There is no place like earth.

  • damn commercials!

  • Allah says in the Holy Quran that there are 49 earth like planets in our universe with life

  • @RazaAli33 There was no way of knowing that. So that is absolute bullshit.

  • @RetardedChickenVids Arab scientist knew these before at the time of holy Quran

  • R u serious? U believe in Allah WHO got Mary PREGNANT W/OUT SEX?and Mary gave Allah a Son Christ EAST STAR? ASTRONOMY WE TALKING RIGHT? U GOT 2OPTIONS:either everyone TURNS theNAME of christ Holy "in" Allah2GROWplanets! OR..Lol! EARTH transmitting _RAYS_of Lights,etc,etc@EVAPORATING_"LIFEGIVERS"...Any Lightings? IT IS A SPACE + RIP +! 4NOW,right?

  • saying hwhat hweird?

  • i feel ashamed that im human :(

  • @thesomebody3 why is that?

  • @RazaAli33 we have a rare planet and we f...d it up......:(

  • @thesomebody3 Yea your right put people like you and me can make this world a safe place to live :]

  • @RazaAli33 i agree with you but if you had the chance to go to a new world are you saying you would turn an opportunity down? i dont think i ever could say no to that

  • @ironmaiden66695 Which is impossible Allah says in the Quran that there are 49 other planets like planet earth with life in their own solar system like ours but it is impossible to reach them and we dont know what is living on those planets.

  • @RazaAli33 wrong moron..where did u learn ur quran from..ALLAH says there are 149 earth like planets and ur great grandma is doing dishes right now on one of them...ITS IN THE QURAN.....look it up..chapter GRANDMA

  • @SuperObamabush WTF :[

  • @SuperObamabush WHAT WAS THAT FOR?

  • @ironmaiden66695 its true but we dont even know how a planet works entirely, i say we should investigate things on our planet first, and should do something about the pollution and 'world destruction' before we go on other planets

  • @thesomebody3 true. but then again we will never fully understand a planet as long as we are only on one. i agree the earth need to be protected but i do think we should try to spread out to other plants to. because if you think about it the world is already over populated so i think it will just get worse here untill we get someware else. we'll probably be on mars in my life time. so i think its good idea to do both because i think they both coincide with each other.

  • @ironmaiden66695 maybe we should build space stations and put people in them, but we need to find out how to make artificial gravity, I think that we should concentrate on earth more, and yes we should get to know other planets too, maybe they are a whole lot different then our, but still we know nothing yet of our planet, were not even 100% sure of the magnetic fields

  • @thesomebody3 i dont know about space stations. i would go but i think alot of people would get annoyed having to float around, at least untill artificial gravity is discovered. i think as station on the moon is alot more realistic. there would be more gravity, nothing like earth but better than space stations. if we did that people could live and work on the moon like they do on earth and then we could use it as a staging point for going to mars. that seems like the strategic way to do it.

  • @ironmaiden66695 =)) i dont think the moon station will be a good idea, because we will then have to populate the moon, and people need gravity close to earth's because of their blood circulation and because all the space stations would stop the light from the sun passing through the moon and just like that our natural candlelight would disappear, this would not affect us but it would surely affect animals, i think we should try to use the land we have i mean 80% or something l

  • @ironmaiden66695 like that of the planet isn't even ppopulated, so we should try to make use of the space that we have. And start selling more electrical cars and START selling H2O cars

  • @ironmaiden66695 spin a 1.5km radius station at about...once per hour I think, and you will get roughly 1G of gravity.

  • @thesomebody3 not we them...

  • @Robertiio sry but i dot get wht u r trying to say

  • @thesomebody3 humanity, earth's suicide letter.

  • @pureawesomeness2012 =)) I agree, but god knows why he created us, right?

  • earth has no proper replacement, there's no planet with just the right temperature for earth-like creatures to survive, the planet is changing from what used to be a planet "aliens" will say is the planet for me to earthlings destroying each other...but still earth is the one and only planet for us, i just hope everyone agrees...

  • No not even scientists agree. If the universe is infinite, then its not even a matter of probability, but it would be impossible for there not to be then infinite copies of our planet, and therefore infinite identical copies of it, and possibly infinite planets that repeated the same exact history that earth did and infinite YOUs and MEs. But theres no way of proving that at this point.. just speculation.

  • Brilliant video, a lot of music in this is similar to Mass Effects music btw.... :D
