There are laws and everybody must respect them. Are you unsatisfied? Go to the court and provide evidence. They do not want truth. They want revolution and every reason for them is useful no matter whether is that truth or false.
There are problems in Russia as everywhere else in the world. As the result there are people who are unsatisfied with something (corruption etc.) They organise demonstrations. This is huge energy. The problem is that the USA will try to get control over this energy and direct it in the way that will be beneficial to them but not to the country where demonstrations are taking place. People just do not understand they are being used against their own country protecting american interests.
It's clear that Vladimir Putin has been the Tzar of Russia since the Soviet Union collapsed. There can never be true peace or democracy in Russia, the people have never known it. They are protesting because they can, would it change things? No, not unless we see a new Russian Revolution like we did toward the end of the first World War.

If opposition in the USA went to Russian embassy to get instructions how long would such opposition enjoy the freedom? Or just name the jail they would be thrown to. Traitors are not respected in the USA. Why should they be respected in Russia? Only because uncle Sam says a magic 'democracy' word applying it only to the countries that have point of view on many problems, different from the USA? Why if a country is pro-american it is automatically democratic and vice versa?

If there is 1% of unsatisfied with the results of elections in a country who go to demonstrations and 99% of people who are satisfied. Whom the government should listen to? There are laws and everybody must respect them. Are you unsatisfied? Go to the court and provide evidence. They do not want truth. They want revolution and every reason for them is useful no matter whether is that truth or false.

There are problems in Russia as everywhere else in the world. As the result there are people who are unsatisfied with something (corruption etc.) They organise demonstrations. This is huge energy. The problem is that the USA will try to get control over this energy and direct it in the way that will be beneficial to them but not to the country where demonstrations are taking place. People just do not understand they are being used against their own country protecting american interests.

It's clear that Vladimir Putin has been the Tzar of Russia since the Soviet Union collapsed. There can never be true peace or democracy in Russia, the people have never known it. They are protesting because they can, would it change things? No, not unless we see a new Russian Revolution like we did toward the end of the first World War.

The people say they want freedom, but they also want the Government to nanny them and have a tight grip on the economy.
Whenever they see an industry expanding - they call for more taxation, and more freebies for the people.
The PEOPLE are what's rotten in these countries, and nothing will change until they change their views.

Russia has pretty much the same problem as experienced during the Soviet, Tsarist and Mongolian eras: The state has way too much power. Constitutional constraint of state powers ought to be the opposition's rallying cry. Democracy may get people the vote, but that's about it. Without the kind of liberties that are codified in America's Bill of Rights, the vote means nothing. The people wind up voting on whomever gets to bully them under color of authority.

@cehussey Amerika's B of R are being gutted under our noses one by one. Government is antithetical to liberty. There is no such thing as a government that fosters liberty. Expecting government to "take care of them" by housing and feeding them plays out as dictatorship no matter who governs. Peaceable, productive honest people don't need much government.
