A fine early Billy Cotton from his all too brief period on Columbia. Wonderful recording and the period sound really is captured on your lovely gramophone.

As is often the case, it looks as if the comment I left didn't take - so to say it again, this is superb! A lovely tune that I wasn't familiar with and a really striking treatment.

A tune I haven't heard before, but again, SO GOOD! Cyril Grantham is always fantastic on these 1930-31 Billy Cotton sides. I played a 1931 Billy Cotton Regal for some friends of mine recently and they loved it.
