Manjula Ji, i am 27 and trying my best to cook each recipe best possible, and i dint know how to make this frozen vegetables the best, now i am soo happy i have your video to take help from for making best out of frozen too. Thank you Aunty. God Bless You you remind me of my mom in India!!!
I also have a dilemma as to dried split peas. Unless one has a pressure cooker and wants to turn them into soup, is there another method so you can still see the individual bean?
Could someone please write out the steps in the frozen peas recipe? My internet connection is poor and I cannot view the video. Also, could you please detail how to deal with frozen peas/veggies in general - do you defrost beforehand, and how, or do you throw them frozen into the pot? Also, with respect to beans (e.g. for rajma), do you soak them overnight, for how many nights, and with or no salt? Questions here are twofold: how to deal with frozen and dried beans, how to use them in recipes?
i just made green beans today.I also added Jeera and mustard seeds in the beginning along with the urid dal. Then put in onions and garlic and a dash of turmeric after the mustard seed spluttered.I love indian food!!! thanks so much for your video.
I subscribed to receive your excellent videos, and today I received an email which prompted me to see your latest video. Thank you and your videographer for bringing your kitchen to so many.
Wishes of health and a wealth of happiness to you and yours...
Manjula,I just want to say that you inspire me! I married into a Hindi family and since ive been watching you ive learnt alot on cooking and what to use..My mother -in-law has complimented my cooking!:D
Thanks for another great lesson. Could do a video on preparing a typical meal -- not just one dish -- so we can see how to prepare multiple dishes to be served at the same time? I can prepare one dish, but feel overwhelmed at getting a full meal on the table.
Thanks for the recipe, Manjula - do you get the Indian variety of seem in the US? The thick ones? This is mostly the only variety we get in he market, except burra wich is also there.French beans are not easily available. Which of the two would be better to try your new recipe?
...indian food is amazing : ))I went to an indian restaurant once and started to crave for it.

Hello Aunty.. my friend is India is asking what do you call this in Hindi. How should I explain it ? I mean the green beans in Hindi.
aarti4628 3 years ago
Should the green beans and peas be thawed first, or put in still frozen? Great looking recipe!
LeoHareMusic 3 years ago
you do not need to thawed just use frozen.
