  • Ok... you did one in Portuguese, (pienso) cual no hablo ni leio. installing Lucid Pup in an MP3 player. Of which I have one of the same chipset as identified by the Puppy Installer. Running WinBlo$e based micro-OS on it because that's what came with it, renders it to be a Piece of Sh.. Same instruction in English or Spanish? The only thing the POS does now is play MP3 music but the video function? No sirve por nada.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker English is my first language, Spanish my second. the P.O.S. in question is packaged as a Videoland VBOP. It sux much dog, because of the OS. I use TeenPup for most tasks, Knoppix 6 for stuff that needs a full kernel. So, does it run from like Busybox as a gui? Since it doesn't have an actual keyboard, and the DO$ crap has a similar scroll down menu. but it only takes AMV formatted videos generated by their proprietary encoder. Which doesn't work.

  • @JonahtheFigPucker And, now I'm down to wanting to put a REAL OS on it just as a matter of pride, ain't nobody gets away with selling me brand new junk etc etc etc. Used junk that has to be repaired is expected. Why should it come from the factory all flawed like that.? I convert/recode media really well using ffmpeg and lame and it plays back on the really lightweight Linux media players with simple charm and efficiency. And Mr Gates' crap OS makes me want to install computers on my window.

  • nice little one there ivan, same for the mp3 player..lol

  • @sneekylinux Puppy runs in mp3 player "iPod clone" + china. Thank you
