  • this aint right, you gotta delete this crap, not to mention the quality is bad BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! delete delete

  • Old fashion !!hahahahahah

  • Ray Parker Jr. Producer I think its the same riddim as" A Woman Needs Love"

  • ricky cant do it like bobby bobby get all into is performances

  • i'm so glad bobby got kicked out back then, cos his dont be cruel album is still the business.... to me

  • @Queenweezy1 yeah that's right

  • all lyp scyncing

    but tight song

  • i bet they felt stupid kickin bobby out n still was broke. now don't get me wrong i LOVE NE BUT I FEEL THEY LOOKED OVER BOBBY AS A SINGER. HE WAS A GREAT SINGER N DIDN'T GET THE CREDIT THAT HE DESERVED AS A MEMBER OF NE

  • This is the deal on Bobby: After a period of time, he couldn't sing the hook to this song "livge" in the original key. This whole thing is lip-synced. Even if Bobby was there, he'd SURELY have to lip-sync. I never did like his voice, but the tracks on his solo album was cool...anyone could've sang his shit.

  • after Ralph, Ricky is doing his own part... but he does lipsynch bobby on da chorus and otha parts.

  • diz is da video love bobby brown

  • It's so funny watching Ricky do Bobby's part...Even more funny seeing Ron do it! LMAO!!! Bobby was a natural performer even back then & didn't really need to be told how to rock a crowd, but I guess being part of a group and so young, you don't supposed to know that...NE was wrong, tho, cuz I seen them live and he surely go the party jumping.

  • Well...Bobby ended up a cokehead and will die in a dumpster somewhere.

  • It must have been hard for Bobby and Ricky playin back up to Ralph for all those years when they could sing just as good as him.Who would have thought in those days that Bobby and BBD would be biiger than N.E. and Ralph as a solo artist.

  • yeah, too bad bobby brown was more successful than new edition when he left.

ralph always had the spotlight in new edition and mike was always somewhere in the background

  • in the end new edition sold more record world wide

  • yah that might be tru but when it all boiled dwn bobby sorta fucked up his life man i guess we all make mistakes

  • @WeInTheFlesh ralph was spotlight because he was the lead singer

  • @WeInTheFlesh ye but after new edition pretty much broke u,p bel biv devoe did pretty well on their own

  • @WeInTheFlesh Lol if Ralph came out with Livin in a Dream he would've been bigger than bobby because that was before Bobby came out with don't be cruel.

  • bobby were r u :(

your soooooooooooooooo good .with out you the group is ............ not so good :(

  • Ricky Is Lip Syching Cause Bobby isn't There! Duhh I Mean y Would They Do That! LMAO Bobby Made This Group Sound Good!

  • A classic Ray Parker Jr. track. Favorite group from the 80's and still one of my fav's of all time.

  • I'm guess they were lip-syching cause Ricky's singing the hook and still sounds like Bobby

  • ya i have there greatest hits album and thats def. bobby's voice!

  • thats messed up! i wanted all the boys! im mad now i cant watch 1 min into this! (but i will n e way cuz i luv them!)

  • It's funny seeing Ricky lip-sync Bobby's part!!!

  • Ronnie did it on Solid Gold.... I gues they were flipping coins...

  • @Ronlg1 I think it was dubed, he really looks like he's singing.

  • @KEYBEATZ ...nah, you might have to trust me on this one....I've seen Ricky sing this before live and his voice on it, is totally different.

  • @Ronlg1 Yeah your right I was talking about this film footage. It sounds like the record. Probably there at the show it sounded different.

  • Ricky did a good job takin over boby's part...

  • Thanks 4 Posting. This was 12/31/85. They performed "Mr. Telephone Man" which was in the countdown for 85 and they also performed "Count Me Out" later on in the show. Whitney Houston hosted this. Bobby was out of the group at this time. NE 4 Life!

  • U mean Cool It Now , Count Me out came later!!

  • Bobby was probably already plotting his New Jack Swing Takeover!lol

  • Teddy Riley created New Jack Swing, Bobby sang a couple of his New Jack Swing records..

  • @alfredoearle Bobby's inspiration for Don't Be Cruel (Every Little Step, etc) was from Ralph's blueprint for his original solo album Living In A Dream. Bobby didn't plot a damn thing. He was still friends with Ralph at the time so Ralph gave him the greenlight on the hump and the moves that he did at the time.

  • @BBoiiLite Man you crazy as hell. Bobby didn't get no inspiration from Ralph. If anything Bobby inspired Ralph as well as the rest of the group when Don't be Cruel came out. If you didn't notice, when the rest of the group went solo they tried to be as raunchy and have the same sound as Bobby. There was jealousy pure and simple. Babyface, L.A Reid, and Teddy Riley were the only people who inspired Don't be Cruel. Get your facts right STUPID NIGGA!!

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Lmfao you dumb sack of shit. Watch "Ralph Tresvant Interview Part 3" He did a interview with Rob the historian and explain the whole situation. YOU get your facts right DICKHEAD.

  • @BBoiiLite Of course Ralph is gonna try to take credit for Bobby's success. Bobby was way more talented than Ralph. Period. Bobby could dance better, and had a more mature voice than Ralph. Ralph's vocals on an album like Don't Be Cruel wouldn't even sound right!! Ralph along with everyone else in the group kicked Bobby out and he destroyed them music wise!! He sold way more records than the group and all of them as solo artists. Like I said, JEALOUSY!! Plain and simple.

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Do you know any of them PERSONALLY for you to be saying it's jealousy? So if a motherfucker like you knows it was jealousy without being in the group. Then OBVIOUSLY Bobby would be aware of that himself. And if that was the case, do you think he'd be running around with Ralph and Johnny in Heads of State? Nah I don't think so. They're all grown ass men so I don't think Ralph would have to lie about something like that.

  • @TonyGonzo1988 Bobby always had the utmost respect for ralph and vice versa. You acting you're MIke Bivins and you were in the group to know what was goin on. You're not, you're just a regular fan like everybody else bruh. Ralph more happy than anyone for Bobby's success. And they still hung out in that time (1987-1989) So sit down with all that ignorant bullshit.

  • Mega performance!! Bobby Brown must have been sick round this performance cuz he ws'nt kicked out the group for several more months later!

  • Thats what I was thinking too...but he actually was already out of the group. This was the end of 85....they were performing for the R&B countdown show which was counting down the top R&B songs of 1985.

  • Thats what I was thinking too...but he actually was already out of the group. This was the end of 85....they were performing for the R&B countdown show which was counting down the top R&B songs of 1985.

  • Wow, I did'nt know that! I should've guessed it since those were the same red sutis they wore on Soul Train one month prior (the taping was on November of 1985)!
