@Songbird117 Ma a ,lei non importa nulla! Canta tutto ed in tutti i ruoli... crede di avere i registri di contralto, mezzo, soprano leggero, coloratura, drammatico e lirico. Dio é grande ma non fa pasticci!!!
Her's is a lyrical spinto in the making, even more than a full lyrical soprano, but she insists on 'light' roles liek soubrette, coloratura leggiero......
With such a full voice and without the finishings of a Joan Sutherland, she handles the coloraturas with frequent smudges that should not have happened at all had she diligently stuck to her true repertoire of lyrical soprano.
She is a second class opera singer. Lousy technique and she wobbles rather than uses correct vibrato. It is a pity that people buy this "act". Just because she's pretty and goes out half naked for every concert doesn't mean she's good enough to be a star.
I haven't heard much of her music, but this seems wonderful!

Yes, poor Babbushka, she is turning into a porkette! She spends too much time with her Tiagron eating at Haagen Daas. Yes they are two little piglets now! Annushka used to be thin, and cute. Now she has gotten fat, has pimples from childbirth, and lost her cute face. Poor Annie, looks like she has seen her better days. She also has cancelled a lot, and received some bad reviews, especially for her Traviata ( kind of a MASSACRE ) !

I don't why someone could call this the definite version..
Yes, it's just been reported that Anna will not play La Scala!!! I told you all, she was afraid to play there!! The AFFICIONADOS will greet her with fine, ripe tomatos from the hillsides of Milan!!
Professor Leoperarm, my garden did not do well this year. I have half a bucket-full of blighted tomatos, ready to be thrown out. Maybe I should save them for Anna's noggin!! I would sure like to be there. Do you think the Afficionados will really let the tomatos fly!!!LMAO!!
MAGGEO 78, OK, can you be our official reporter of Netrebko's performance at La Scala!!! I will put it on my calendar, and we will anxiously await your report.
Oh, by the way, do you like Diana Damrau by any chance?
Instead I think this is the only modern performance that can compete with Schwarzkopf one. Anna is doing an immense effort to clean out all the shit accumulated on singing style in 40 years of pure trash and shameful circus freak underculture who dominated everywere. And La Scala, the theatre of the most provicial and arretrate musical country of contemporary world, won off course first prize of this ridicolous trash "do di petto" subculture. What a big load of ignorants, my God.
Ridiculous! The 'definitive' version could probably be the one that Mozart actually conducted, don't you think? The definitive version recorded should be one on period pitch and by a true soubrette.
I would like to know the names of your called critics and musicians (as if you were one).
To think that this is the definitive version (which I casually found and uploaded to Youtube) is just a stupid (excuse me) idea.
A soubrette doesn't sing professionally. Anna is more than soubrette. She's better than the definitive version. All the musicians and critics who have watched her said she's very beautiful voice.
Professional Soubrettes: Lucia Popp, Ileana Cotrubas, Kathleen Battle, Dawn Upshaw, Barbara Bonney, Graziella Sciutti; even Cecilia Bartoli, Natalie Dessay and Diana Damrau have performed soubrette roles... are they not professional??? BE SERIOUS!
Who are you to say that Battle or Popp were not professional?
It is soo funny reading these idiotic experts comments here, whereas Anna Netrebko sings in the best opera houses and is being highly regarded and LOVED by the best conductors, as well as being admired by public. It is truly amazing how a few losers here try to make it sound like Anna has problems while Anna is doing fabulously well, she DEFINITELY WILL REMAIN as one of the greatest voices in history and people who used to bash her would still be some shitty unknown losers from you tube.
Will someone make this woman sing Micaela or Pamina?
Of course she won't. Those aren't the leading roles or prima donnas. She just wants the popular arias, she just wants to be famous. She wants to touch the ears of those who don't know the difference between a role and another.
no matter what you write here, you, pathetic loosers, Netrebko will survive and will be known as one of the greatest sopranos in history, and you will remain the unknown loosers that you are now. GET THAT?
Sorkin, are you, Bellafredina, and Filaredo paid to bring criticism against Netrebko? If not, you should be. Your comments are bringing a global wave of scrutiny and criticism against Netrebko.
Sorry but can't stand the wobble, not open and bright, not appropriate for anything but certainly not for Mozart.Could we have more proper Bel Canto please?!
Listen to the Gold Standard = Erna Berger's Vedrai carino (1953) and compare.

Names of the critics and musicians please.

I'm a big fan of Anna Netrebko but unfortunately, his aria is not for her.

So many closed minds here. She is a wonderful singer. Just sit back and enjoy.

It is soo funny reading these idiotic experts comments here, whereas Anna Netrebko sings in the best opera houses and is being highly regarded and LOVED by the best conductors, as well as being admired by public. It is truly amazing how a few losers here try to make it sound like Anna has problems while Anna is doing fabulously well, she DEFINITELY WILL REMAIN as one of the greatest voices in history and people who used to bash her would still be some shitty unknown losers from you tube.

too big voice for a soubrette role
Charna777 2 years ago 8
True enough, Donna Anna is her best from this opera absolutely divine :)

Sounds like she wearing a nose clip.

Will someone make this woman sing Micaela or Pamina?
Of course she won't. Those aren't the leading roles or prima donnas. She just wants the popular arias, she just wants to be famous. She wants to touch the ears of those who don't know the difference between a role and another.
It is very sad.

no matter what you write here, you, pathetic loosers, Netrebko will survive and will be known as one of the greatest sopranos in history, and you will remain the unknown loosers that you are now. GET THAT?
sorkin777 2 years ago
as opposed to you being a very well known looser, poser and groupie. you already made the history of youtube!
eradesso 2 years ago 5
Sorkin, are you, Bellafredina, and Filaredo paid to bring criticism against Netrebko? If not, you should be. Your comments are bringing a global wave of scrutiny and criticism against Netrebko.
mtnmanjt 2 years ago
paid against or paid for defending?
winston874 2 years ago
NO Sorky, she will NEVER sing at La Scala! Why no La Scala??? Why not????
Is she afraid to sing at La Scala? If she's as good as you say, why no La Scala??
She will need her Tomato-Proof Helmet, if she goes there!!
mtnmanjt 2 years ago
@eradesso Actually she sang Micaela at Vienna State Opera this past May 2010 she was amazing! :)
classicalgal14 1 year ago 2
Shrill interpretation. Her lyric voice is worse than coloratura.
thugman30 2 years ago 2
Mozart is not Verdi. I think she is not well versed to sing classical arias, especially Mozart. Lighter voice is needed!
vittorja123 2 years ago 5
OMG! Where did you find this recording???
OperaGIRL777 2 years ago
Her "Air de Bijoux" from Faust is delightful
awixa2 2 years ago

eradesso 2 years ago 3
well, I'm prejudiced inher favor, maybe everything she does is not perfect, but her voice and beauty are undeniable...she adorns any stage
awixa2 2 years ago

fairlytaleofnewyork 2 years ago
Sorry but can't stand the wobble, not open and bright, not appropriate for anything but certainly not for Mozart.Could we have more proper Bel Canto please?!
welovegorillas 2 years ago
I want to see and hear her as Donna Elvria or Fiordiligi.
Lindoron 2 years ago
She graced us with a horrible Donna Anna though.
eradesso 2 years ago
what?? she did 'non mi dir' very good and beautiful..
madziua90 2 years ago
sorry, i DON'T like it. But i'll rate, anyway! This aria should be sung quite, cutely and caring. But everybody knows Netrebko just can't do that.
serRudyll 3 years ago 6
I agree with you. Zerlina is not for her
fairlytaleofnewyork 2 years ago 4
Her voice is too big for Zerlina. I don't think she's bad, it's only that other roles suit her better.
Hollowfernes 3 years ago 8
May I ask the people who like it to please rate? Thank You!
