The show ended wit Inuyasa nad Kagome sitting in a tree, leaning against each other.

The Manga ended with Kagome going to her own time and three years later, she returns to be with Inuyasha for the rest of her life. It ended with them standing on a hill, watching the sunset. Sango and Meriku have three kids, 2 twin girls and a baby boy.
