  • tooooo effffinnnggg lonnnggggg of a movie. wrap this shit up, b! is the same message over, and over, and over and over again. that being said, good movie

  • Stop Making are soldiers Die!

  • in japan if u have solar panels and produce excess energy the gov buys it back we need this in the us also

  • Didn't expect an attempt to sell me on diesel smh just switch to electric, even I can produce that energy/fuel. Automate everything and finally be free from drudgery of jobs and money, and we'll grow food for food, not more oil.

  • Growing crops to feed cars instead of people will always be morally wrong. Furthermore, it's naive at best, catastrophic at worst to expect to continue our car-dependent urban sprawl while the environment has a finite supply of many other materials that go into transportation and all of the other products that we depend on for our modern way of life. This video doesn't inspire me, it frustrates me because it misleads people into thinking there are simple solutions. There aren't.

  • Incidentally, there were several outcomes from Cheney's "secret oil company" meetings. One of those was a massive expansion of biofuel production in the U.S. via the Renewable Fuel Standard. That included biodiesel. If you read the recommendations from the task force, they were hardly oil-centric. The implication that the task force carved up Iraq behind closed doors and this ultimately led to the war detracts from the film's credibility.

  • While I agree with most of the message, there were some misrepresentations, omissions of facts, and simplistic examinations of a complex problem. Since space is limited, I will only mention a couple. There is no perfect energy solution; biodiesel is heavily dependent on methanol for its production, and that is overwhelmingly made from natural gas. The algae stuff was pretty misleading; Greenfuel Technologies -- featured in the film -- was bankrupt shortly because their technology didn't work.

  • 2 years after this vid was made and we are still going deeper and deeper into the clutches of consumerism and corporate industry it makes me sick

  • 2.3 trillion dollars unaccounted for, 8000 dolloars to very man, woman and child in America.Just imagine how much that would have helped the economy if we woulda got that, THUMBS UP so ppl can see the truth.

  • I like the idea of bio-fuels, but, ecologically, the sheer amount of land they'll be digging up to plant soya, corn, canola, etc. would be also ecologically taxing.

  • "The film never dwells in the negative", yeah...right

  • no

  • An inspiring film that leaves you angry that we continue to allow ourselves to be ruled by corporation run governments and war-mongers.

  • pretty sad that only 217k people watched this. I personally don't own a vehicle yet but when I do, I will purchase one that can run on Bio-diesel in support of your dream. Your dream is also my dream. Starting the day I get my own Car.

  • Another feel-good documentary... But they just don't give the full information, just one side of the info and bunch of dumb comments from artists and the like... yawn.

  • @Neavris really? Then why don't you enlighten us...... or is not worth your time? yawn....

  • @001hamish I've just been dumbed down by this documentary! Give me some time to recover at least... lol.

Correlation is not causation. (sick people)

The wolf is guarding the henhouse. (oil that remains)

Government spendings cause inflation. (higher prices)

Most people don't like math. (cost-benefits of using biofuels)

Germany had austerity measures. (07-08 crisis)

100 years old conspiracy theories. (unverifiable and unlikely)

well... what was the conclusion of the movie again?..

  • and americans aren't the only ones with problems. perhaps we're the biggest issue when it comes to cars, but it's not like other countries don't output their share of pollution- asia, india, UK, etc. all pump out millions of pounds of pollution. we can all stand to change. for example, i still think it's ridiculous to use gallons of water to flush a little bit of pee for every person all the time. just flush every other pee if you're worried about smell and suddenly a lot of water is saved.

  • cheap gas prices have spoiled us (americans). and yes, despite how much it's "gone up" it's still cheap. but really....if people really needed cheap gas prices, they wouldn't be driving SUVs everywhere when they don't even use the space. we need gas tax to help out the government, and then public transportation can get better (faster trains, better bus systems, etc.), bike lanes can get better and more plentiful, and people can learn to carpool and drive efficiently. we're so spoiled and lazy.

  • People should be living closer to work drive smaller cars with more mpg. There needs to be massive upgrade in rail car, trolly car public tranist. More people need to be using scooters which cost next to nothing to fuel and can still get you to work. People need to be biking to and walking to work more often. BUT heres the problem with this Americans and Canadians are lazy and self centered not only that but over 50% are over weight and couldnt even get them selves to work with bikes or walking.

  • Nice of God to kill off 750 million years of dinos to support the last 1400 year of homo sapiens......

  • Ron Paul!

  • I like the idea of biodiesel but who is going to oversee the production of it? What is to stop companies from draining the land of all of its fertility to meet the demands of our society? Great movie but it doesn't address the who problem

  • america is playing with our world ... and no one can stop them to do what they want to do ...

  • This ting that makes me sad the most , is that fact that the mistakes adult before me have made... I will have to deal with and live with for the REST of my life. Im only 15....

  • Who would dislike this video???

  • @beerkat88 go kill yourself SOAB

  • @erisearth I don't know what a "soab" is supposed to be, but I will tell you that I will not go kill myself because some weirdo on youtube told me to. If you don't like some comment I put here, then you need to deal with it or ignore it. Telling people to kill themselves indicates you may need mental help. Please seek aid soon.

  • heres the fundemental thing most everyone assumes: we need some sort of centralized power generation. We do not. Tesla proved it. And now so have a few others. John Bedini is 1 of them. Overunity devices work. I made 1 and am going to make another as i upscale their power. And so on. Research this info and stop giving power to others. Be responsible yourself.

  • part 2

If government were protecting property like they claim to do then the cost of refining oil would increase and biofuels could compete naturally without subsidy and all the irrational behavior that subsidies produce. Keep in mind that subsidies come form either taking money from people by force or by borrowing money with the promise that the next generation, who has no say in the matter, will pay for it. Only through government can you steal from the unborn.

  • His problem is the same as the environmentalists in general, using the government. Its very easy to corrupt and, at its core, its nothing but coercion. If you have a valid argument why do you need the gun of the state? Biofuels are still too expensive, petrofuel is still cheap. It true about the processing and storing costs of pollution aren't being properly accounted for, but that is an example of how corruptible and untrustworthy government is. part 2

  • @Hashishin13

I think your post (I have read both parts) misses two points:

    1. The petrochemical companies use the government. I think he spent a considerable amount of time on this at the beginning of the documentary;

    2. Governments exist for a reason. Say a society pressed the delete button on having government. No government anywhere. People with a vast volume of resources could coerce people with few resources, even if the latter had a valid, all-considered argument.

  • @LifeIsTheGreatest "Say a society pressed the delete button on having government. No government anywhere. People with a vast volume of resources could coerce people with few resources, even if the latter had a valid, all-considered argument."

I would say that second sentence is an exact description of government. So yeah, not a valid argument.

An oil company would have a tougher time invading Iraq if it A) had to pay for it all itself and B) didn't have the gov as cover

  • like if ur teacher showed u this but on dvd

  • I am Public Relations Officer for HRMA GreenTeam at the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton Hotel & Restaurant Management. We are watching this documentary to show awareness!

  • 50% of the population live paycheck to paycheck and 50% of those do not even have the credit to be able to buy into solar & other earth friendly techs...Find a way for The POOR to be able to afford the technology and most would get on board since the end puts more spendable income in their pockets. But these new techs are geared to upper middle class disposable incomes....You want to save the planet, Provide poor income home owners with govt subsidized tech instead of financing a war machine!!!

  • EVERYONE SHARE THIS ON FACEBOOK GOOGLE + AND TWITTER GET THIS VIEWS IN THE TRILLIONS!!!

  • That's why they make up this bull so that they could tax Co2 use

  • BTW..I only use Bio Diesel on my Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel 1ton Truck and in my '83 Mercedes-Benz 240D Diesel.

  • did they misspell Cargill and Monsanto in the graphs?? lol

  • An Eye opening Documentary. Thank You for all the hard work poured onto making this movie. I'll make sure if my Company becomes big someday, it will be an Eco Friendly Company....Petroleum FREE! 100% BioFuel...only.

  • Great doc! Glad it was free. I might not have seen it otherwise. Respect the way you stayed on topic and still made the connection on our entrance into the war and the influence of large corporations in gov't, robbing us of our votes.

  • 41 oil execs watched this documentary

  • not bad watched it all I myself wonder what "EVIL ENERGY SOURCE" comes next?????????????????????

  • Thanks you for this wonderful information. There is hope for this beautiful world.I'm sitting here crying like a baby after watching this.

  • ANyone who beleives Oil comes from Dino's is A Loose cannon

  • Why would responsible govts not promote energy saving technologies? The answer is, it doesnt pay them to! 50 million a day is spent on war, loss of life, increased debt and poverty all becuase the oil companies are making billions in profits each year! Some make more than small countries GDP! Rather than pilaging the earth, give back to the third world, afterall, you stole their resources that would be helping to sustain their lives

  • This video has opened my eyes to what is possibly the worlds largest cover up and explains why the world is always at war! Forget terrorism, its oil! The oil companies are the biggest terrorists in the world! Henry Ford designed cars to run on ethanol, Mr Desiel designed the desiel engine to run on peanut oil but the oil companies simply paid off corrupt politicians to prevent these technologies from being marketed! Look at what it has caused. Global debt can be stopped by changing fuels!

  • amazing, this world is on a path of greatness

  • هذا بيطيح حظنا طيح الله حظه .. صح لازم نحافظ ع البيئه بس هم اللي خربونا ولا حنا ما كنا ندري عنهم !

  • Go to the root of the problem, weak and corrupt government!

  • Brilliant work. Excellent Docu.

  • vey good documentary. we only have one planet to live, lets all help to save it.

  • One More Thing - B careful or One fine day you may also "Disappear" like Rudolf Diesel ;-)

  • What happened to America 40 -50 years ago happening to my country (India) , China and other developing countries- we have started using lots of energy and driving Big Cars ,announcing our arrival and feeling good about development .- Its SAD.

Cheers for 1 unit of energy for SOY Production= 3 units of BIODIESEL- like it :)

V Good Job Josh - wth love From the land of Gandhi.

  • Brilliant

  • what is war on terrorism? answer: 38:00

  • Thumbs up for no ads :)

  • demand change with your wallet!

  • I'm not aware of algae-based biofuel as an election issue, all I hear is pipeline here and drill there. If algae biofuel is an issue it doesn't seem to be as glamorous as this documentary makes it out to be.

  • @wailinburnin You don't seriously think that the "Election Issues' are actually the issues that need to be address do you? If that were true wouldn't that mean that Presidents actually changed the country for the better and obeyed their campaign promises?

I'm not saying Algae Bio-Fuel is as big of a deal as the Documentary might make it out to be, I'm just saying Presidents only seem to know and say enough about any subject to get elected.

  • @enticed2zeitgeist Right on Enticed! Excellent straightforward phrasing of my rather ambiguously stated point! I just read it is technically feasible to carry out the Gingrich Moon and Mars plans on schedule, if that's the case, the entire portfolio of alternative energy solutions - including algae-based bio fuel - must be hostage to board-room politics, not technical concerns.

  • Venus Project

  • u hve done good job thnks and keep it up

  • There are other interesting inventions that could provide electricity and even transportation by harnessing energy from the space time fabric all around us- the inventions have been made, but patents denied and shops and labs raided, and at least one inventor murdered. It will take all of us to fight the big oil

  • change our driving habits-drive more fuel efficient cars- let the markets find solutions- TAX GAS!!! what do you think? (disclaimer: this only applies to canadians and americans)

  • Ethanol there is nothing wrong with it but we need to work on making it from something other than corn its really inefficient and it only makes the price of corn go up and that makes the price of everything else go up like food we need to look into things like Brazil has sugar cane or algae that is so much more efficient to make ethanol and its the same exact thing but cheaper and easier to make

  • Nice video...I was planning to buy a car runs on gasoline...now after watching this video i'll go for biofuels and other source of energy.

Most importantly...Ya! right we need to wake up now or else one day we will never wake up...I ts our eath..Its like a member in our family and we have to take care of it.

I m from India and I'll promote the concepts of energy consevation in my country...Thanks...Together we can make a change.

  • @pradyuth100 it takes a lots of farm land to mass produce bio fuel. That would mean food prices would go up a lot being fewer farm lands for food would it not?

  • Very Powerful, well written. We need to act now.

  • Ron Paul is the only one who can really make it happen.

  • @3applesparks hate to burst the bubble but how can Ron Paul who wants no government intervention what so ever, make this happen ?...

you need essentially all the money that was spent from the minute we went to iraq until now to be used on american infastructure rebuilding america.

  • Obama!! we can make this happen!!!

  • The way this guy talks I guess cars in Australia run off rainbows and farts!

  • uhur84 i need freash air

  • stop eating meat you will get better results!

  • the war is not about oil

  • the only intresting part is at 1:18:28

  • Hello everyone I would like to say that I agree completely with this documentary. I just think it serves a purpose by themselves flipped the world, a moment will come when the pain and suffering we have to do something. Before us is a difficult decade, if not centuries to prepare for suffering. Neither us let alone our descendants will not be easy!

  • "SOMEDAY YOU WILL DIE AND SOMEONE OR SOMETHING WILL STEAL YOUR CARBON!"

    undeniable truth.

  • Great documentary! It's got me thinking, I want contribute in changing the world!

  • we are fucked - end of story

  • Canada wants to be on board!

  • I like this video

  • Solar power, wind energy, earth heat; those are the future, not bio fuels.

  • what's going to be the best car at doomsday. not long till the final, the end, the last.

  • solar crystal energy discharge wined down to super conductive earth. Run everything off light.

  • Excellent, vote to kick all the current politicians out of Congress in both Houses in 2012, including the current crop of those running for president and elect only those who are biofuel friendly, begin from square one, let's have a massive do-over and get this right.

  • @Indianart1 unfortunately, the american public is haunted by the thought of change. a revolution is neccesary

  • I stopped watching when they started talking about global warming. Less than a fraction of 1% of the atmosphere is co2.

  • @nobodymuch You are an idiot.

  • @Haseeebo I've been on here long enough to know that people who call me an idiot are usually too stupid to argue with. What is your problem? Me pointing out a factual statistic or have I wrecked your fantasy that you can fix the weather by paying more taxes to people who already have all the money in the world?

  • @nobodymuch Percentage of C02 in the earths atmosphere was 3%, in the 1960s. That was 0.94PPM (parts per million). Fast forward to 2011, and it's at 1.94PPM, peaking in 2005 at 2.52PPM. It's clear to see the increase in CO2 within the atmosphere, and sure as hell ain't 1%. Want the citation? Check your inbox fool.

And who said anything about taxes? Butthurt republican I see...

  • @Haseeebo he you! learn to read! 3%??

"In 2009, the CO2 global average concentration in Earth's atmosphere was about 0.0387% by volume, or 387 parts per million by volume (ppmv)" google is your friend

  • @nobodymuch Is not about paying more taxes, Government gets enough taxes already,

it uses half of its money on paying exxon mobile oil, to "pretend" that the gas prices are low,

and then it uses 1 billion a week currently for wars.

it is about priority, renewable energy is a no no because Exxon Mobile cannot afford to loose its billions..

the question you have to ask yourself is why you paying taxes to exxon mobile ?.

    when they make billions...

  • this video is fabulous .i recommend every one to watch it not only one but also more than one

  • Once we have good nano tech batteries we'll even eventually power our jets with electricity.

  • we need this in our lives...............

  • Go research Hemp. 3x more efficiant than corn, doesn't need ANY pesticides, grows on uncleared land. Grows extremly fast and cleans up alot of CO2. Also good for SO many other products (rope, fabric, paper, food). Yet it's illegal in USA since it is similar to marijuana but has no active ingredients (THC)

  • @SocityNeedsAChange Even though I would use Hemp for paper and for things I would normally use plastic for I would not use hemp as fuel because I want good electrics and won't settle for second best.

  • It all boils down to this. "We can save ourselves, but we can't save ourselves from ourselves"

  • lovely!!!!

  • really good video very disapointed thy did not mention HEMP ( wit THC an wit out THC) , fuel , clothing, food, building materials , medical ( THC kills cancer ) , list is endless Hemp is the plant to save the world .

  • the people that argue against it have own personal issues like "what about my boat or suv" I need that shit.(service to self) very selfish in thought

  • Looks like I just found a new cause to fight for.

  • Very interesting actually

  • Oil will always have a place in our society(planes, large trucks, ships) until we invent a new form of main energy. Our backbone for the grid should be nuclear while we invest and further develop renewable energies.

  • @CaptainRidley you're wrong. the oil will have place in our society only until...the natural resources are used up.

  • @CaptainRidley lol always? You mean until there is none left in 20 years? 7 Gallons of oil in one car tire, 100 gallons in a car. Its about far more than energy. Plastic, rubber, synthetics, everything

  • @CaptainRidley

Neclear is just as unstable as oil. The fuel used in neclear plants can jump at any time in terms of prices and the only countrys who have a good supply are pre cold war nations.

  • @revron77 what about thorium there's plenty of that.

  • @QPWimblik

A bit risky in terms of producing thoron. The UK already spends 70 billion on trying to control waste. Applying thorium could rise that cost. Plus as thorium is an airborn susbstance in terms of raditation. Any fuck up in the gride or a terrorist attack could result in hundreds of not thousands of miles of high radioactive material going in UK airspace.

Like if Heysham 1 went off... most of the UK would be in shutdown. Nuclear is way to dangerous for national security.

  • @revron77 I agree a terrorist could use thorium as a weapon but It's got a better profile than uranium.

  • @revron77 Honestly, it's not as dangerous as you would think. "Terrorists attacks" you wouldn't need to worry about, if your government played it's PR cards right. As for the waste...that's the biggest issue. A chernobyl-esq accident is highly unlikely.

  • 39:10 BEST Analogy EVER!!!

  • I saw this documentary a year ago, and I am proud to say I have used a bicycle as my mode of transportation to this day.

  • oh yeah, water shortage is another problem that ties into bio fuels. You need water for all those trees in california. just observing.

  • @ClementStreet i agree.. tons of water is needed to grow those veggies. fresh water is also at risk.

  • @syncopath0425 Are you an idiot?

  • @3GBlog please defend your claim

  • Comment removed

  • The fact is, the most humans will only change for a reward. Thats the basics behind overconsumption, and the political stagnet figures who are in power. Profit/money is power. Unfourtanately, to change this mindset will not be easy. To understand our petroleum problem, you havetoo see the bigger picture.Money is the issue behind wars for oil, and so many wrongs on this planet. Its up to you to get into politics and stay true to your positive cause. But if you do, stick to the facts.

  • @ClementStreet SO TRUE!

  • VERY INFORMING!! I'LL SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN..

    THANKS.

  • 0:38:00

She puts this whole documentary in perspective. I can argue that those few words she speaks, explain the world we live in. The state, without it there would be progress.

  • why do we talk freely about, even patrioticly, about energy independence but I would be labled some sort of weirdo if I spoke about keeping our money debt out of other nations control or NOT making everything we consume in China

  • The ads for this movie are from Chevrolet. The couple in the car race around chasing an airplane towing a message. The message has been received......

  • Whats the name of the song at 35:30

  • @KooLgamer420 that can be found at 1:49:36 :) but I'm too baked to read it.... LOL

  • thanks, i really enjoyed this vid and it makes you think a little more.

  • Por que no les ponen subtitulos a estas peliculas...

Para que las vean en toda latinoamerica -_-''

    Todos deberian ver esto!

  • true and awesome...!!!!

i m a stud. of energy engineering...i will sure do somthin abt it...!!!!

  • I have included the link to this video in my Email signature, hope it helps to get the word out

  • Its very easy because the Tax bricks was only for heavy "cars" its very simple. The US Auto industry is very weak in cars. So it would only stimulate the european and japanese economy if you put tax briicks on them.

  • Oh, Prius is stupid. VW Polo 1.3 Bluemotion is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more economical. But hey, its economical for us standards.

  • @Redmailnet

Intelligent was the Audi A2 1.2 TDI. It only took 2,8 Lieter per 100km in Mixed mode not Highway. (0,5L less than the Polo) And it was bigger and more Beautiful than the VW Polo. And had 4 Doors. OK it was made of Aluminum and Expensive. But it was great. And so reliable. But it was selled before the time. So it was a Business Fail. I hope they will build it again.

  • @efg36 Well, A2 is ugly as hell - it's a girly kind of car. It might be more economical, but lacks any performance. I had a 1.3 92' Polo GT, nice performance and did 4.5L/100km and it was enough for me. Then I bought a 00' 1.4 Golf and things got expensive - very heavy car and weak engine, result: 8L/100km :( I don't know if the 1.2TDI A2 is more economical than the 3cylinders diesel Polo. I'm going to check it out.

  • @Redmailnet Well it is more economical. But way less powerful - I guess if we make a comparison between both models the Polo wins. They both use the same engine but the new Mk5 polo has more 14hp than the A2. The polo has less drag, which makes it smoother and economical. The only conclusion is that for nowadays standard the VW Engines are more cheaper to run than any other.

Even Skodas are prettier than the A2 :) Cheers from Portugal

  • @Redmailnet The point is that the A2 was lighter. If an A2 have more drag, i would be not so sure. The A2 needed less fuel like the Lupo 3L, and was 2 classes bigger.

For the drag you have to compare the cW*A. Not only the cW.

The point is: The Polo is a very small car. The A2 was the size of a Golf

And how good the A2 would be if you put today technology in it, nobody know. It would be astonishing. The A2 1.2 TDI is ~10 Years old. Its weights less than 900kg (200 less than the current Polo)

  • @Redmailnet Well its a question of taste. I like the A2 very much. It looks like its from the future. But one thing is fact: The A2 is bigger. You have to compare it with the usability of a golf. But it was to expensive for this days. But maybe not today, the fuel prices rised...

  • Obviously! Let's stop believing on Terrorism and that stupid notion that Arabs are our enemies once and for all. It's all about the fucking oil! Clearly! That's a fact intelligible to most people and some of our most discerning domestic animals.

  • "Prohibition" was enforced in order to keep oil companies in bussiness???

For fuck shake, world elite is even more crooked than I thought it was......

  • Brilliant. About time the USA caught up with the rest of the world, Now if there was only a way biofuel could fix american arrogance...

  • @skiczn It's funny cause i'm American and I agree with you. Prime example is when I bring this topic up with my parents, there quick to bash me and tell me i'm wrong. The facts are all here yet they still think the way we are is just fine. The self entitlement of this country is so irritating that it makes me sick. This may sound bad but I really hope that something bad happens to make us all wake up and realize that we are not the center of the universe and our ideologies are wrong.

  • @2oo9Maxwell I agree with you in some ways, don't forget this process took generations to set in motion of deceit and manipulation. We must always represent our people in our country and we are Americans. It is up to us to end this for us. We all see this more clearly as we met the end of the oil age. You could be the next energy revolutionary. But we all have to make that start.

  • @2oo9Maxwell true that american

  • Biodiesel is burning food. Thats pathetic. We have 7 Billion to feed!

  • Diesels in Europe are so popular because Diesel is less taxed than gasoline. And because the increase of the desel fleet the diesel price rise. Diesel and Gasoline is a combined product. In one Gallon Oil is a part of Diesel and Gasoline. Its not possibe to turn one into other. So Diesel is not really an solution.

  • @efg36 Hmm diesel cars are more expensive. The taxation on diesel is lower, yes. But not considerably lower. It's bullshit anyways.

  • @Redmailnet

The Taxatiion is very much lower. From 1 Euro paid in Petrol in Germany 59 cent are Taxes. On Diesel its 48 %. Thats the only reason Disel its still cheaper. Because of the Diesel-Boom since the Diesel-Engines are so powerful like you want, the Demand rised that much that the net Diesel Price is higher. In the Past the Tax difference was even higher, because Oil was cheaper and the VAT witch is the same on Diesel and Gasoline played a less important role.

  • @Redmailnet

The Taxatiion is very much lower. If you buy 1 Liter Petrol in Germany 90 cent / 48% are Taxes. On Diesel its 70 cent 48 %.

So for heavy Drivers a Diesel is a good choice. But as i told: The Diesel Price rises faster than the Gasoline Price, Because 60-70% of al Cars buyed in Germany (and EU its the same) are Diesels

  • @ScopedOUT2 well it is clear that US gov is after the oil reserves in the world to fill its emptied pockets and they love to make an invalid excuse, that its a "war on terror". they kill people in so called "operations" in Iraq and afghanistan. they love to drop bombs on civilians on the bases of "reports" that are only 40% true. UN in silent on this, they dont even bother fulfilling their duties ever....and yet they call us terrorist!! just wow isnt it?? hope dats clear enough for you!

  • See why we are called terrorists?? because we our front lawns with "pink flowers".......not with the "red blood" of our people......WE ARE NOT TERRORISTS!! we just want PEACE!

  • @nebulakhola what the f$%$% do you mean? Write a clear sentence.

  • people no all this there just ignorant and fucking stupid like are government.

  • @weedissafer I guess; thinking indepenently hurts?

  • It has real reason of 911 conspiracy. USA instead of declaring bankrapcy has resorted to loot gas stations by waging War on terror.

  • I think Tickell said everything there is to say. Its time for change.

  • I am not normally interested in documentaries, yet alone sit through an hour watching one. But this film, actually got me to sit in front of the computer screen for an hour and 48 minutes. I have learned so much about the world's dependence on crude oil, and how we as humans can seek to change this. Nice job, Josh Tickell, you're doing great.

  • Can someone tell me the name of the company who grows algae vertically in this film? My internet is too slow and is taking too long to load back to that part. Thanks!

  • @ghagenson1 It is Solazyme Inc.

  • See THRIVE...much infinitly better !!!!!!!!!!!!!

(you must not forget the petro-dollar issus !!!!!)

  • One of the best documentaries I ever seen. This 2hr film was able to explain what I have been trying to convey to people for the past 10 years in a way I never could. Thank you Josh Tickell, you are truly an American HERO for all you have done! If only now people would ACT... THINK... and REACT... OUR world might have a chance.

  • 1st Strike is Jan 25th 2012...Thanks FUEL!!
