  • if i saw flames coming out of my trucks mufler, i would call my friends and brag about how badass my truck is, instead of getting it fixed

  • i love diesels i have an 82 datsun diesel with 205000 miles and still going strong

  • my friends dad had an 06 F250 with the powerstroke....cost them a buttload of problems internally in the diesel engine, sounded cool i guess but it was a lemon with only 110k miles so they traded it in and got a 1/2 ton Silvy Z71. No more problems now.

  • Sorry to tell ya bro, but uh, that's what you get for buying a ford.

  • Why doesn't Ford turn to the Japs like GM did and have them build a good diesel for them. They just keep repeating with more and more failures. International SUCKS and Americans can not build a reliable Diesel they can't make anything reliable. All they no how to do is replace parts. Just build it right the first time God what will it take for them to get it !!!!!

  • @bolensbuddy haha im a tech.. headgaskets, injectors plugged egr valves vane position sensors and turbos .... thats what my day consist of at a GMC dealer ...whats your job entail?!?!? my boss loves that i have 3 FORD DIESELS!! but ill tell you like i told him i work on JUNK all day when i go home i dont!!! :) im not sayin they never break but my trucks all have over 250k although they get driven and hard they have never had the heads off and two of the three have all 8 factory injectors

  • @bolensbuddy Have you ever heard of the 7.3 PowerStroke? or the vt365, which is basically a 6.0 in a bigger vehicle and actaully has a good reputation?

  • omg what are the egts....

  • Fords... gotta love 'em.

  • god that thing sounds like crap

  • Thank you liberal enviro-whacko's for forcing this crap upon us.

  • that cant be safe

  • no it is called they have ignitor at the exhaust tip. people have that put into diesels all the time

  • @The97mustangcobra Im here to tell u man thats no ignitor tip,or spark plug in the exhaust pipe.Thats straight up fucking fuel burning from the cat getting so hot.

  • Anti lag!!!!!!

  • People pay good money JUST FOR THAT...

  • Holy shit, I was about to buy one

  • that aint a problem its called nitrous

  • this guy installed a system to do this. the loud clicking is not the engine its the spark igniter and he has some type of fuel injecting into the exhaust, probably propane, by the way its burning and since it probably has propane injection system for performance.

  • Caused by injecting raw fuel on the exhaust stroke to burn carbon from the dpf filter. Kinda hard with fire through the turbo I think.

  • @flahr1 That would be hard on the turbo, but the injection occurs downwind of the turbo.

  • sounds like somebody put gas in it instead of diesel fuel

  • i would get that away from the pump before the trucks not the only thing "flamin" haha but it is badass

  • I wish this were an available option..mine just throws white smoke..lame

  • Imagine if you floored that once somebody tailgates you...

  • Introducing ford new line of 6.0 firestroke diesels

  • Problem?? Make sure you didn´t push the redneck button!

  • thats not an engine problem its for those people who ride your tail on the road lol jk

  • how the f that truck cant do that

  • yeah that might just be a small problem lol

  • the exhaust is awesome but the engine tick is awful

  • Thats BAD ASS i would pay to have that as a option

  • Now thats custom my buddy bought the 08 6.4.Intalled a tune it was awesome.Until 60,000 mi then the overflow was spilling over.It was the head gasket hahah.ill stick with the duramax,or cummins

  • WTF !!!!!!!!!!!! if my truck sounded like that theres no way in hell I'd fire it up

  • Yeah, no shiat sherlock. They're not supposed to sound like this. But thanks so much for the lesson in Diesels 101!

  • They should come like that new!!!

  • somewhere, the powerstrokehelp guy is wincing

  • actually i wish my truck would do that, well not be all screwed up, but cmon flames are awesome

  • could you imagine stopping at a red light with that going on? Screw recalling it!

  • You know, if my engine was knocking like that, I don't think I'd run it.

  • @flainn Usually diesels make more of a knock sound than GAS engines. Just the way they are.

  • my 1990 accord does this once in awhile when i rev it going on the freeway or idling down really fast....totally cool

  • @YucaipaDaddy101 Thats just cuz its a pos.

  • i don't see the problem, if anything this would boost up resale value =]

  • I own an 08, never heard of the recall. Looks and sounds like some idiot put kerosene or gas in it and it's trying to clean the particulate filter. I love how people post stuff to tear down brands. If you hate Ford so much just don't buy one....

  • @mdr8088

I think you're right. At my job, we have a good handful of '08 F350 SuperDutys, with the bobtail package from the factory. We haul heavy loads all day long, out on the flightline, and there's never been anything like this. Not to mention, there's been no recall info put out through my chain of command. I'm calling BS on this video.

  • @ashguy21 its not a 350 its a 250

  • Haha that truck has a problem big time

  • @DarkPhantomZX Nahh that knocks nothin... hahahahahhaha junk

  • friggin eh. now i dont have to spend the money for a flame thrower AWESOME!

  • Glad I got a Chevy

  • if that could be an exhaust system. i would totaly put it on

  • And toyotas are complained about

  • awesome! now i can light my cigs without wasting lighter fluid!

  • i se no problem thhat is just extreamly bad ass that is a truk i would by it dose the same thing my dads doj doj dose when you exselereate cus he tride to fix it him self

  • @MrBbgrump see not se my com is craping out

  • DOWN AT THE BONFIRE OUT IN THE STICKS!!!

  • hell, i think i would pay extra to have this! Its badass and you wouldnt need a grill when you went tailgating lol

  • @italianstallion8787 lmao Tailgate, Tailgate, Tailgate!

  • @italianstallion8787 Dont have to pay extra, just neglect a 6.4 and crank the fuel rail pressure up with a leaky injector. I always install a new DPF if a motor popped they usually get full of oil and when i command it to manually regen it will shoot flames and sparks not like that though. I remember seeing this when they first came out. Now im seeing the 6.7 push injectors out like a 5.4 2 valve pushes spark plugs. Nothing like a 70k dollar truck coming back a week after it left with new plates

  • recall my ass i wouldnt take this back thats awesome

  • Was this in fast and the furious?!?!?

  • this is what we get when we let our diesels go to overseas companies, we need to build american cars ,trucks, bikes , in america,

  • Man, why can't Toyotas get recalled for being bad-ass? *Coming from a Toyota-lover.*

  • thats not a problem. thats just straight up BADASS!

  • @dankestdank420 dude i was gonna say the same thing

  • @dankestdank420

it seems less bad ass on a tow truck when the PTO is on high idle and you're trying to place wheel bars or work the controls, lost an eyebrow and half my hair from that

  • @dankestdank420 i don tthink that was a accident they put on a flame thrower on urpose to see how stupid the customer would look if they gave back a 500 dollar exhaust product

  • I like all diesels but the point is that dont people pay extra for flame kits for their exhaust, ford is just adding extras right... haha just kidding

  • typical ford. This is what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less. ford sucks. GO CHEVY!

  • Can you say Cut off torch???

  • baabicuuuueee!

  • I'm a Ford guy and I'm even tickled by this.

  • BUY A CUMMINS

  • i dont see this as an issue i would pay extra for my super duty to throw flames

  • gotta love that loud knocking noise

  • Damn clattering fords anyway one reason i would never own a pos Found On Road Destroyed Fucked On Race Day while the Driver Returns On Foot backwords Fixing Or Repairing Daily ford bullshit

  • its a ford. what do you expect

  • @GOUGH1918 It's an International engine. Ford deisels had very little problems if any. That's why ford pulled the plug with International.

  • @88soulsurvivor still a ford

  • @GOUGH1918 yeah the body the DIDN'T make the engine so your comment made no sense still a ford because this motor could have been in a chevy and still did the same thing

  • @PRO50MUSTANGS well do you see this problem in gm?

  • @GOUGH1918 because gm didnt use international to make their motors they use isuzu makes duramax. so its still not fords fault its internationals fault

  • @PRO50MUSTANGS since ford went with international technically it id still fords fault

  • @GOUGH1918 not anymore!lol

  • @GOUGH1918 no i just see 90 percent plastic lmfao pos chevys

  • Flame Thrower Included !!!

  • yeah, this is the getting lower emissions than a bone stock 7.3

  • injectors stuck open or what?

  • Hey @petostereo r you a dumbfuck that doesn't sound like a diesel locomotive at all... I wish I knew where the he'll you were at because I would come beat your ass right now

  • Damn. will that blow up if you keep letting it flame? If not then i dont see what the big deal is.

  • looks like a ford nascar

  • see this is why i like chevy :)

  • @kyuubiand9 cuz chevy never has problems...like snapped driveshafts and failing from ends.....

  • @billium2014 lol cus thats the joke

  • i just say fuck the admissions. bring the 94-97 powerstroke back!

  • @casefan14 94 through 03 man! all the 7.3's

  • @2strokedetroit

don't mess with the 7.3 powerstrokes!!

  • @casefan14 hell yeah! Our family got three, we got two

    2000 f350 6spd 7.3

    and a t-444e in a dump truck

My uncle also has a t-444e in a dump truck.

Can you beleive no more manual trannys?!

  • @2strokedetroit

yea its BS. we gotta 96 powerstroke with a 5 speed and limited slip differential front and rear. its a tank

  • @casefan14 yeah I know. It's hard to find a person who can drive a stick anymore. Im only 14, and I can drive a stick, and I hear these adults talk about how much better autos are, but they just arnt. More complication, less power and efficiency.

before you go knocking me, check out my vids, and, I know you guys hear this far too often, but my dad is a diesel mechanic and I know my way around a truck (I got a job as a farmhand)

  • @2strokedetroit

awsome if your dad is a diesel mechanic then you are really lucky. but the advatage of a manual is when you pull a trailer. i hear that 18 wheelers are getting auto transmissions instead of 10, 13 or 18 speed transmissions

  • @casefan14 yeah he is, but he works on literally anything. We have done race cars, boats, dozers, anything. But his primary work is diesel fleet, and he does ABUNCH of 6.0 and 6.4 maintanance,id say 7.3 but i never see them in there :) . Yeah, but the trucks the fluid will actually boil if they get too much a load. But still, manuals are more fun to drive. I think its boring to just turn a wheel and push 1 pedal. Plus the better control, more power and mpg doesnt hurt either! and cheaper!

  • @casefan14 when I say "the trucks will boil fluid" I meant big trucks with autos.

  • @2strokedetroit

yup they are junk with the autos terrible fuel millage

  • what i believe happened is that the exhaust filters they started putting in these trucks didn't work quite right, resulting in higher-than-normal exhaust temperatures and, in this case, fire. they fixed it for the 2009-2010 model years.

  • Recall this is an added feature.

Some people actually buy kits to get exhaust flames.

  • the fuck????

  • Clean burning diesel!

  • That valve hit any harder and the end is going to mash the head so bad it will be junk. Sound like a tappet is screwed up. Do they use hydrolic tappets in that motor? Maybe the dork put the wrong oil in it.

  • wow, a nice addition to a piece of shit ford. the only place they belong is in 200+ton crusher.

  • this is a reason for me to buy one

  • In my book thats not a recall thats an added feature.

  • Pretty cool

  • dude that looks awesome. i would drive around like that all the time

  • Pass some marshmellows around guys we have a camp fire! WOW

  • @bmcgwier I think the ticking is just from the camera could be from an echo from the building getting picked up ive heard it on other videos and one i was there and it wasnt ticking like it was in the video

  • timing off? wtf is that ticking?

  • @bmcgwier its called the engine =)

  • @XOHaley21609OX i no that the engine, but why is it doing that, i a diesel myself and it doesnt do that, no ticking so that y i ask about timing off

  • @bmcgwier its a recall =]

  • Ford tests these motors for hours before they mass produce them. Now here's what I want to know. What changed between the test model and the mass produced model?

"These metal valves are too expensive to mass produce so we are going to use the latest and greatest state of the art plastic valves".

  • Its the Batmoible

  • no worries, that's just the BBQ edition released that year...

  • load a bowl" u said u didnt have a lighter fagit there u go!!"

  • fords, they might not be the greatest truck, but they arent taking our governments crap, and sticking with it, although ford= found on road dead.

  • thats a ford for you

  • i would not overtake that ford.

  • This video is posted again, and you morons are sucking it up. THIS IS ONE TRUCK WITH A STUCK INJECTOR. The only recalls on recent diesels have been for the Duramax, and they were very minor. Pull your head out of your ass, and notice that all the Powerstrokes blowing flames are the exact same video.

  • i'd buy that truck!!!

  • see they complain about toyota but ford is terrible

  • this engine was a fail to begin with

  • you should see these pussys in the snow. cant even spin all tires in 4low.

  • @313foxbody420 why would you want to spin your tires in the snow? is that the traction control so you dont get suck?

  • Don't just stand there like idiots! Grab some wienies and go to town!

  • OK well that happened because it has a special exhaust that sprays diesel in and ignites it and cleans the exhaust well there were setting things on fire

  • hell, i think is cool..lol

  • Thats actually pretty awesome lol

  • they never show the front of the truck wondering if they have a propane tank in front of it

  • what a pos

that thing sounds like a diesel locomotive

  • i see no problem here

  • Sounds like ford isnt gonna buy internationla engines anymore o wait THEY DONT.

  • wonder what the egr readings are

  • thats one hot ford

  • I can imagine a smoker buying this car.

  • damn, sounds like tugboat

  • @SgtMcCools1 good one.

  • LMAO!!

  • Don't buy ford people.

Specially their diesel suck. I bought two brandnew ford diesel trucks and both broke down in the highway. 1 when it had 450 miles on it and the other with 11000 miles.

The more messed up part about it is that the ford dealers didn't want to fix it right away. I had to call the "Ford Motor Company" and complain about them not fixing it in order for them to fix my truck.

  • wow why dont you try and make that look a little more fake

  • @josh230motorcycl how does it look fake? how would it look different if it was real?

  • @cw147 go type flame on you tube and see what a damn fire looks like faggot

  • @josh230motorcycl lol i see in your description you like to piss people off on youtube. i like to do that aswell sometimes.

  • @cw147 good keep it up

  • BuyToyota, it is the best.

  • @dithbmine1 the best at being shitty...the old yota trucks had good 22r engines though

  • grafitichangedmylife is close. All diesels do this but most do it while traveling down the highway. This is referred to as regeneration. This process burns soot that is left in the engine causing the flame. Ford did have a recall for this because there was a very limited number of trucks that would regenerate while idling.

  • Puro ford vato! Chevy y dodge todo meko

  • huhuhmm total gelangweilt wer will mit mir schreiben hab auch bilder von mir

  • the reason this is doing this is bc its a re-burn effect that most deisels do, the take the excess fuel the didnt burn an re-burn it in the exhasut it's not supposed to happen at idle its supposed to happen at a crusise on the expressway , it wouldnt blow that much flame there, it was only an ecm recal the just reprogramed it an it was fine! Its still pretty cool to see though, they recaled it bc someone got burnt in a parking garage while walking behind the truck!

  • @FuckFordGM what the fuck are you talking about?

  • i'm no expert, but that doesn't look good.

  • Hey it still runs and its also better then the 6.0 that's +2 for me.

  • i never heard of this recall i own a couple fords never had any prob with them and why is any one talking about this lets worrie about run away toyotas lol

  • thats not a recalled truck. its james bonds flame throwing truck.

  • Good ol reliable Fords

  • @marcusklemme Nothing wrong with this unless you are in the car next to the guy.

  • its not fake

  • its not mixed

  • no buddy one of the valves are stuck causing it to dump raw fuel down the exhaust and causing the knocking noise

  • ur a fucking idiot.... all american made cars can whip shitty ass imports anyday.... i would like to see an import truck carry a 1 ton load up a steep hill without bogging out

  • @marioandspike First of all that first statement is the most retarded one ever made. It doesnt even make sense. I have nothing against either domestic or import but to make a comment like that just shows how ignorant you are. Second, what the fuck does racing have to do with towing capacity and carrying that load up a hill? Are you fucking retarded. Your whole comment it pointless now.

  • @marioandspike in australia our utes can do that

  • hey thats how it actually sounds.... i should know i work at that shop.... and the knocking noise is a sticky valve and it is also causing the flames.... and no u cant keep it like that because anyone within 7 ft would catch on fire.... we got the flames to be almost 10ft long....

  • what is the deal with fords always catching on fire and shit... damn..

  • @teofthe chevy catches on fire more, but still drive em. when i want a flamethrower, i get a ford without the knockin noise. let it throw the flame at clown cars thats lifted up with big rims and low profile tires

  • this is cool. its not a problem. its because its running too damn healthy. and just about no emissions. i would pay to get my truck to do that. you all make it sound bad.
