You know those screen made of plastic which are used as a surface to project pictures from a projector? Actually, do you know those ones in which the picture is projected inverted? It seems to me that in this table the imagens are being projected from up and if they used an inverted projector the players wouldn't see where the light is coming from, they could play in the same way just by chaging the material of the round control.
