To some of the folks saying the World is not over populated, by 2100 the population will be 10 billion, with most of the growth in Africa. It is nothing short of evil continuing to give aid to Africa, because when their populations reach those levels there will be MASSIVE catastrophe, starvation and civil war...and by then the West won't be in a position to help.

The type of action you are talking about takes a huge following, and a target. The internet, and youtube, twitter, facebook, makes this very feasible. Also the growing number of hackers.

Yeah Charlie I believe America is now in a critical red danger zone. I watched a video about someone saying that a global economic meltdown including America is in progress and he expects the US economy to hit rock bottom by July at the latest. I remember Bob Chapman saying that America will go into inflation turning into hyperinflation which will cause the US economy to hit rock bottom. A war with China is also now a very real possibility over resources in Africa and the Middle East.

@thetruthisoutnow Canada's housing market has remaind stable, they have not had a single bank collapse, nor have they bailed any out (though they did chip into bail out GM and Chrysler). The job market is not as bad as the US and the Canadian dollar is slightly more valuable than the US now. True Canada does a lot of trade with the US, but we are not their only trading partner. If the US goes down Canada will certainly suffer some, but it won't be as horrific as the US collapse.

The type of action you are talking about takes a huge following, and a target. The internet, and youtube, twitter, facebook, makes this very feasible. Also the growing number of hackers.
Create an internet firestorm, but you need to give people someting specific that they can "do". And then create momentum. I tell by the tone in your voice that you are passionate about this, but nothing happens until the dialogue is replaced with positive action.

Yeah Charlie I believe America is now in a critical red danger zone. I watched a video about someone saying that a global economic meltdown including America is in progress and he expects the US economy to hit rock bottom by July at the latest. I remember Bob Chapman saying that America will go into inflation turning into hyperinflation which will cause the US economy to hit rock bottom. A war with China is also now a very real possibility over resources in Africa and the Middle East.

@thetruthisoutnow Canada's housing market has remaind stable, they have not had a single bank collapse, nor have they bailed any out (though they did chip into bail out GM and Chrysler). The job market is not as bad as the US and the Canadian dollar is slightly more valuable than the US now. True Canada does a lot of trade with the US, but we are not their only trading partner. If the US goes down Canada will certainly suffer some, but it won't be as horrific as the US collapse.

For those of you who don't think we are in depression, try living in the construction world. We are begging for jobs, then when we finally get one we are working for at least half what we used to get. People don't look at history with the correct lens; this collapse will not happen overnight. You won't wake up one day and say, "Good morning Collapse!"
These things happen over the course of YEARS, not days. In fifteen years, if there are any text books to be read, 2008-2012 will be looked at as the turning point. And even those four years are short in historical time scales. Get real people. Charlie's been ringing the bell for three years already.

In the end they will probably use this global crisis to make some kind of world currency thus restabilzing the economies

I agree with this guy! Sadly, most people STILL CAN'T SEE IT! Most people are still bringing out their barbeque grills and putting on their baseball mitts. i have never detested our government more then i have in the last 10 or so years. I could cut the gov't spending so fast and with ease if i was in power. I would bring all our entire military home from Iraq & Afghan immediately-they could do more for us here. I would tax the crap out of the elite (wealthy) corporations, i would decrease gov't employees by 75%, pay congress only when they are in session, get rid of the IRS & Fed. Reserve- stop fleecing America..

I live in Canada, and I can clearly see what's happening to my Southern neighbors. I am prepared. And I am warning others as well. At least stock up on food and seeds. The ripple will be felt WORLDWIDE. Those that laugh will starve. Those that prepare will scrape bye. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out. The economy is like an accordion, it expands and contracts. You can also make music (money) when it does both, or you can just make an awful noise (lose money). It depends on if you know what you are doing. If you are in gold/silver you will be playing music, if not, you will be making an horrible noise.

Charlie, we are living on the edge of collapse and crisis, but if you think this is "THE CRISIS"...then you're not living in reality. The ultimate bottom of this isn't even close to being here. Things are bad, but we are on the edge of this, rather than at the bottom of it. I think this is why people get tried of you talking about us being in the midst of crisis. If you can't see why such year after year talk would be frustrating when we're no where near the bottom, then I don't know what to say

@veritasfiles You are right, I think. Charlie is rather like the boy who cried wolf. I think you are right that we haven't been "in crisis" for all the years that Charlie has been saying we are. Now, though, I think that Fukushima will probably, quickly get us all to the bottom ... much like the fuel loads in the reactors have quickly hit the bottom of the containment vessels and may soon produce massive explosions, involving six reactors and thousands of tons of spent fuel rods.

And yes, something like Fukushima may just bring us to the bottom, though I suspect it will hvae more to do with a nuclear disaster long the banks of the Persian Gulf, where 40% of the world oil transits each day. Those Iranian reactors are scheduled to be brought on-line soon.

I have been watching it fall apart now ever since 1999 ... its like being witness to a slow motion train wreck ... folks in club car are so busy partying they have no idea that just a few cars ahead of them people are being crushed under the debris ... its only a matter of time ... I think when second quarter P&L's publish, stock will tank ... that may be tipping point ... but I dont think anyone knows exact timing ... but its coming ...
