This is sad. That poor mole is terrified of the ferret. It's not cute at all. :(

I'll have you know I released her (i think it was female) back into the wild after only a few days in captivity. The mole is "scared" but I doubt it can even 'see' the ferret or sense its there. They might not even have light perception in their eyes but it has the instinct of 'burrowing' to find safety and that's what it was trying to do.
