@the1lique Since you don't look Indian, I'm going to assume that you're Native American. And race isn't based on ethnic background, it's based on skin colour. So if you're skin is dark (tan - dark brown), you can be considered black. There are several other factors (not going to explain) because a lot of black people have very pale skin but they are still considered black. In the old sucky days, Indian people were called (by racists) Sand N*ggers. Not to offend, but it's a fact.
@GwendolynRaine My mom's skin is dark and so is my grandmother's. On my mother's birth certificate it says Colored on my grandmother's birth certificate it says Indian. However they are not considered black; but I am (because of my black dad). My grandmother told me this is because Indians (Natives) are a mix of Spaniards and Mexicans. It's interesting for me to observe other cultures. Black (African) is a race and people with more evident white ancestry by the mother and mixed father, without African features anymore, would never be considered "black" in many countries. People nor even know what means Hispanic because this "race" doesn't exist in these countries.

Unless you belong to a royal family, you don't know your ancestry until 1000 years ago. If the next generations of this family also marry whites, their descendants and everybody also won't know that they had an African ancestral. Heritage (language, foods, music, dress, etc.) is a function of environment with NO link to genes or appearance. How you look is a gene crapshot based on your parents. Also of course one's lighter, the color white is LIGHTER than the color black. Most light skinded mixed kids are usually have both of their parents genes when it comes to skin. But in this case one of the kids got only 1 parents genes for the skin stem cell causing one to be white and one to be black.
@NueHojuu, we always inherit genes from both parents for each detail (hair, skin etc.). When the parents are pure black and white, the children have color "in the middle", not white and not very dark, because they always receive 50% of genes to have much melanin and 50% not to have it. The hair of the first mixed generation always seems to be completely African, but it's more flexible because of the 50% from the white parent. So, It's easier to turn straight the hair of a mixed person (cont.).

@RoCkbunny769, as curiosity, people who you call Hispanic or Latin in the US are considered white (the race) in hot countries, unless they have Indigenous features. The very white North Europeans are descendants of South Europeans and Asians who occupied that cold region later and lost melanin because of lack of sun. But most also get brown when they move to hotter countries, although it takes more time. Pay attention that "Hispanic" babies are lighter than the parents without taking sun yet.

In Brazil, for instance, many love to go to the beaches etc. to get "bronzed" (considered more good looking here). And the rest get some color walking etc. because the sun is stronger and appears most part of the year. Melanin is a protection against the sun and few people would like to be very white here because it means skin burns (very red), skin cancer etc.

i dont like the way they always try and catch people into watching these stories by claiming one is "black" and one is "white" really, one takes after the fathers genes more and one takes after the mothers genes more, the 'black' children look mixed race still in their features, and the white children look like some mixed people i know that are 1 eighth black or a quarter, my mum is black, but i take after my fathers genes more (asian + white) hehe still all beautiful and healthy :)

The correct definition of Caucasoid or Caucasion can be seen in google. Pigmentation (melanin) is a protection against the sun ( burns, skin cancer etc. )
Now we can protect well ourselves against cold and sun wherever we live, but millennia ago people had to survive "in natura" and so these adaptations became genetic. To have much melanin was very important to survive in Africa and their hair became a "refrigerator". The called kinky hair holds and keeps the sweat refreshing the head (cont.)

It's interesting for me to observe other cultures. Black (African) is a race and people with more evident white ancestry by the mother and mixed father, without African features anymore, would never be considered "black" in many countries. In hot countries it's not even possible to identify the race only by the color because most, no matter the race, get tanned taking often sun. People nor even know what means Hispanic because this "race" doesn't exist in these countries.

Also of course one's lighter, the color white is LIGHTER than the color black. Most light skinded mixed kids are usually have both of their parents genes when it comes to skin. But in this case one of the kids got only 1 parents genes for the skin stem cell causing one to be white and one to be black.

@NueHojuu, we always inherit genes from both parents for each detail (hair, skin etc.). When the parents are pure black and white, the children have color "in the middle", not white and not very dark, because they always receive 50% of genes to have much melanin and 50% not to have it. The hair of the first mixed generation always seems to be completely African, but it's more flexible because of the 50% from the white parent. So, It's easier to turn straight the hair of a mixed person (cont.).

The other 50% of genes for straight hair came from the white genes inherited by the father and transmitted. People can call him black, but he is mixed, with more predominant white genes. This is the reason why the kids don't have the main features of the African race anymore, like the first mixed generation. Many have other races in their ancestry and nor even know...

@RoCkbunny769, as curiosity, people who you call Hispanic or Latin in the US are considered white (the race) in hot countries, unless they have Indigenous features. The very white North Europeans are descendants of South Europeans and Asians who occupied that cold region later and lost melanin because of lack of sun. But most also get brown when they move to hotter countries, although it takes more time. Pay attention that "Hispanic" babies are lighter than the parents without taking sun yet.

In Brazil, for instance, many love to go to the beaches etc. to get "bronzed" (considered more good looking here). And the rest get some color walking etc. because the sun is stronger and appears most part of the year. Melanin is a protection against the sun and few people would like to be very white here because it means skin burns (very red), skin cancer etc.

You are right, the brunette kids have a normal color in countries called Latin or Hispanic in the US. But here you'd be considered white (sunburned) if your origin is Spanish. As they were colonized by North Europeans (more difficult to get brown) and the country is not tropical, only people with real white color are considered white there.

@Born2Flesh, you are right, their race is not black (African) because all have much more predominant white genes and it's visible by their features. It' easy to see the brunette kids still inherited some melanin from the black side. If the light kids still inherited some black genes, it's insignificant. Between the 4 or 5th generation mixed with whites, the other race disappear genetically and their descendants are not biracial anymore, but white. Nobody has total ancestry of the same ethnicity.

Each generation mixed with whites, the hair gets more flexibility. The kids have already straight hair, which means the pure black ancestral is at least 4 generations ago. The white and brunette kids do not have enough black genes anymore to have children with African features; only marrying blacks.

Darker skin is a more dominant gene, which is why children from black/white couples are usually more dark skinned in appearance. If you want to talk about RACE then yes, they would both just be biracial, but in case you didn't notice, black and white are COLORS not RACES.

I watched another video of a couple who had biracial twins and they disabled commenting. All 3 sets of twins that I have seen so far are BEAUTIFUL! This is very unique and miraculous.

I'm a white kid born from white parents where my father ditched and my mother was considered schizo, I was fostered (7-9) by religious, abusive (physically) and mentally (fear) and then adopted (9-16) to parents who pretty much assumed I'd be a serial killer.
