I can imagine the thoughts going through your mind...
"Maybe I can nail it with this broom..." *hovers beneath roach* "I dunno... what if I miss... I'd better put the camcorder down" *handles broom like a spear, aiming carefully for the jugular for a quick, successful kill*
GYAAAA! *thrusts forward, shout a war cry to stun and strike fear into the heart of the demon insect. As the broom is slowly turned, the roach awakens... AND ATTACKS WITH THE POWER OF A THOUSAND SUNS! NIGHTMARE FUEL!
lol, i own a pest control company in florida. you guys would never get hired by us.
the worst infestation i've ever seen was a house on the beach. the lady called and said she had palmetto bugs (American cockroach) in her attic. i thought she was crazy cuz it's too hot in the attics in fl. when i got there and opened up the access to the attic i crapped my pants. there were 1000's. the whole under side of the roof was covered with em. oh man, i had to get drunk.
@pointmanzero heeheehee. We get them in the house all the time. The dog, bless his furry little hide, likes to stand in the open dog door, head outside in the sun and rear end inside in the air conditioning, for hours. Anything can crawl in.
BTW, you can't kill them with a broom. If you don't have any Raid, you'll need a large brick. We used to have a cat that would beat them up until they were dead, but she's gone, now.

Damn, and I thought the ones in Australia were bad.
Though to be fair, cockroaches are one of the few things in Australia that can't kill you.
