  • HERE IS THE TRANSLATION----------------->

How do you see the sky?.. there are people who look at it like this , with spots and floating filaments which do not let you work , read , smile , they are called ''floaters'' . Many people suffer this but no one fights it , the association onlus cielo azzurro supports the search against floaters , support it!.

  • @majuskonr

I have the same problem for a vitreous detachment in my left eye. (My right eye is blind). I think i'll try a vitrectomy with laser . I hope you too. (Sorry for my English)

  • Thats aint no dam floaters, that's some flying dicks!

  • Hey I'm 23 years old, had a orange flash over my whole sight for a split second and some weeks later I noticed a smaller black transparent dot that motioned around with my focus. Upon tryin to fix my focus on it and after it succeeded, then I noticed two other black transparent floaters on the vision. The second is very transparent but black and formed like a line, the third is just a dot. Got several others that are completely transparent. The doc said nothing to be done, but research shows not

  • I'm 18 and mine are almost like these :( I'm so depressed, I don't even want to go out anymore

  • @seritessen me too, also 18

  • @seritessen the more you focus on them the clearer you see them, try to ignore them and with time you'll forget them, wear sunglasses in bright areas so you dont notice them, they are not dangerous just dam annoying

  • I see these as well. I see black ones and clear ones. They are like little circles connected on a line. Against white walls or on a sunny day they are all over. It does not make me depressed and I just don't think about them. Its not a big deal.

  • @StrengthOfWisdom same as me i did when i first noticed them but i channel them out now and hardley notice them, but some days i do lol

  • io ho 36 anni e sono comparse nell'occhio sinistro all'mprovviso

  • save our soul............SOS ... its horrible ...dear dr crevatin... pls issue the drug..he is the italian dr wrking for cure.....

  • mine floaters too..fuck them i can't drive becouse of them

  • omg thats how mine are :O

  • I'm only 18 years old and I have some of them, really annoying when it's a good weather, I can't watch the sky anymore like I did before. But I learnt to live with them and most of the time I'm able to ignore them. But if there would be a better cure than vitrectomy and lasering, I would undergo it immediately.

  • mine are small dots transparent inside with dark thin circle and long lines.

Hopefully some doctor will do some pills, beside vitroctemy , that is the only solution to remove floaters, but not all of us, have the money to doo it !, becouse it's like worse than having cancer and cancer is curable but this damn floaters, are not :( Common people !! I`d rather prefer to have cancer than Floaters.... God help us ALL, becouse only we, know what we suffer Thumbs up so they see this

  • @daramusbogdan i have the same egsact thing your not alone dont worre

  • @daramusbogdan u rather have cancer u stupid or what? eye floaters arent a big deal at all I live with a few on each eye whatever dont think about them then u wont notice them so much and there is no cure for cancer only treatments

• MA PORCO DI UN GIUDA!!!!HO 16 ANNI E SOFFRO DI QUESTO CAZZO DI PROBLEMA FASTIDIOSISSIMO!!!SOLO ORA HO SCOPERTO COME CAZZO SI CHIAMA..è UNA MERDA..SPERO SI POSSA CURARE !!

  • i dont know guys... my doctor told me that some italian eye doctors are working on a cure for floaters , it should be done by 2012

  • oh my god they are hell annoying and ruining my life ...... you see them every day especially in clean surfaces like white screen of computers or clean sky .....

They also distract your attention especially when you are with people , and brings illusions .

I went to many doctors all they said there is no cure you have to live with them .

I am depressed , what can i do to get of them . i saw cures by lasers but my

doctor told me that's not a complete medicine it will come back again .

  • @abdboji yes, there're not medicine or treatments. The opticians say only to drink more water and try to accustom oneself to them.

  • This charity is trying to raise awareness of floaters. If you have floaters please google oneclearvision and fill in their questionnaire.

Abbi pazienza.

  • Ciao a tutti

  • i drank heavily over a long period of time as a result of depression, recession and whole mix of other things. anyway at the end my floaters started to become more prominent. since ive drastically cut the drink however the damage has already been done. So little word of advice for those who have floaters, dont become an alcholic because it will get worse!. I wish i had never started drinking in the first place.

  • my floaters look nothing like this i can barley notice them oh and also i have this thing wer when i go from light to dark i see flashes of light go by nothing serious though

  • If you're seeing flashes it could be serious, go see a doctor.

  • i did i just have myopia nothing serious.

  • ok :)

  • fuck floaters!!!

  • Go to the floater forum: floatertalk . yuku . com

  • Wow those floaters are gigantic O_O mine are small and transparent.

  • I have a gigantic one but it's very faint(I can't see it unless looking at the sky at bright daylight )

i assume it's just close to the pupil...

I figure a 3rd treatment option to come will involve staining them with some chemical to diffrentiate them from the rest of the vitreous and then injecting an enzyme to break them off.

  • i have floaters just like in this video. im only 16 also. i have had them for about a year now. i pretty much live in the dark because of them. they are making me psychotic :(

  • floaters are worse then most eye problems if you tanke into account that mild floaters are a bother (unlike even mild keratoconus or cataract) and the more you have the more annoying it is and it can't be fixed which makes it worse... also many people have them it's nothing rare at all

there are indirect accounts of the roman eperor titus going mad from a floater/"fly"

and there not some celular degenerative damage all it takes is collecting them out of the eye aka making vitrectomy easier.

  • i know what you mean i been developinh floaters for a while now, its scary, docter says my eye is fine but still, ive had a detached retina in my left eye and never got it done now im blind in that eye, im so scared to go blind in the other eye... i have many floaters and it scares the shit out of me, im depressed cuz of them.

  • @pillboi mine too! transparent... not black!

  • @pillboi we are the same.... hahaha..mine is transparent too.. and not as big as those...

  • Indeed these things suck ass, they're EXTREMELY ANNOYING, I can't stress this much out. I have them since I was 15/16 and I'm 18 now, and in in only two/three years they've gotten SO MUCH WORSE! Plus there's this flashing thingy that happens here and now, they say it happens when MORE floaters are on the way... DDDDD:

And doctors say we must chill out about it, that it's just a MINOR ANNOYANCE! JESUS, that's what it's not!

Plus, it can be a doorknob to other extremely serious eye diseases.

  • dude floaters and flashes and 2 MAIN signs of retinal tears or detachments GO TO A OPTOMOTRIST NOW! if u start seeing a shadow or a curtain that seems is covering your vision then go get checked cuz that is a vision threatening thing.

  • not really... I got flashers long ago when I didn't even have noticable floaters and my vision was ok... they can mean many things... (still go to the dammn doctor... and ophthalmologists seem a bit retarded .. probably deal more with people then knowledge kind of job)

  • I dont think the vid is very accurate on what they really look like

Mine are worse much worse, except the big fat one in this vid, but I got one that runs the whole lenth of my vision probably 3 times over and swirls around

I appreciate the people saying just ignore them, but yeh its almost physically impossible to ignore the ones I have..

I had them since 16 so I know how they are but at 23 they went to a disgusting level

you may not know what other people are going through

  • There is Italian product/multivitamin called VITREOXIGEN which seemed to help some people to either get rid of them or reduce them. Has anybody here tried it? You can currently only buy it in Italy. No international shipping.

  • how can vitamins reduce them?

    stop peddling your snake oil.

  • oh a minus one how mature.

  • i see like 15 clear ones in my vision they really bother me :(

  • mah floaters are so cutteeeeee- JK THEY SUCK HOLY SHIT BALLS! :@

  • I heard that if you have them in each eye, it's probably not retinal detachment, you should still get checked, if floaters are your only syptom, sorry, should you go to a doctor?

  • im 13 and i have floaters I HATE THEM !!! i wish i didnt have them lol i bet everyone with them wishes they didnt have them UR NOT ALONE PEOPLE

  • yeah...im 14 and they really annoy me...

  • lol the largest floater shown in this video must be the worst pain in the ass. i bet u would go like "GET OUT OF THE WAY I CANT SEE"

  • I'm 14 and have had them since i was 10... i only see them in my left field of view, but there are at least 10 of them. They are so freaking annoying and sometimes i just want to stab my eyes out. They pretty much ruin your life...

  • there is a cure. i suffered from them for a long 3 years, they became intolerable. my local doctor said there was no cure and you will just grow used to them but i couldnt accept that for an answer. so i did the research and found out about the vitrectomy. although it did carry risk i was determined to go ahead with it. 6 months later and my floaters have completly dissapeared, ive got my life back again. i just wish more people suffering realised there is a solution to the crappy condition.

  • bobby)g...Well done! which Doctor mate and where.

  • no doctor will perform it though so easily... I hope don't have to do it to remove mine and they will stay at this level but I really want to get them out lol...

I estimate the mean amount of floaters is above noticable in an attempt in an avg person...

and there is a backwind into finding a 3rdand fourth option.

  • My floaters look like ebola particles. ^_^"

  • holy shit thats kinda severe, mine are see through circles, these are big gray lines...if u hav big gray lines then u should probably get checked out

  • Im 16 and have like 8 floaters in each eyes...they ruin my life

  • I've had damn floaters since I was a little girl. I fucking hate them! But doctors say my eyes are fine. All these comments are comforting though... I'm not alone. lol

  • For me, normal vision is a vision with floaters. Always have been like that. The problem is, since 10 years ago (I was 18), I had a trauma in the right eye with a ball, and some new floaters started to bother me. I used to enjoy seeing them before, but this new ones are not transparent, but dark, and really enoying. I hope to forget them or find a cure!

  • i dont know but when i forgot about having the floaters they disappear and i can see clear , but when i remember that , they start appearing little by little , from my point of view , you should not focused on them too much .

  • i would like to thank psargen i have many floaters but sadly hes right nothing can be done you have to learn to accept them i am 27 i have had floaters for over a year now i just keep busy for instance how many of u accualy noticed your floaters when reading comments!

  • I hope someone pulls there finger out and finds a reasonable cure for these someday! Floaters suck and theres no 100% cure except surgery. Laser is only useful in xome circumstances and for me, pills (multivitamins and other weird and wacky things) didn't work.

  • Almost everyvody's got miodesopsies, nevertheless, if they increase in quantity (even 1) from your current ones, please visit your ophtalmologist. They are caused from lesions in the vitreum in the posterior chamber of the eye, and you see them because they create a shadow on your retina. They cannot be cured.

  • iam getting really depressed with my eye floaters :( i had them for a 2 months and i just cant deal with that iam going to have them forever.. i was always a healthy person

    Iam only 17 :(

N no1 can do anything bout this??? people do brain operations heart operations n they cant do nothing bout lil spots :S DISAPPOINTING

  • im 18 and ive had them since i was 15. ive jus learned to live with them

  • You're not alone. I have them since i was 14-15, now i'm almost 17 and I learned to live with them. I just hope they don't get bigger, right now they're quite small, the biggest one looks like a fly in my left eye, on the lower left corner

  • yea i have this fucking shit almost as bad as that video but still eye floaters are annoying as fuck!

  • i bet that this fucking shit is caused from the intense exposition of tv and bad eating!

i have it in both of my eyes since 16 i think...

but i wonder if these desese are ever exist in past with this frequency, especially on young people!!

i wish to debating with you guys:)

  • I dont know what this video said but I fucking hate eye floaters

  • @rhcprxbandits LOL i think the same

  • im a very poor eater. is that why i get them? if i eat fine, will they go away? what about cod liver oil or kombucha?

  • Ihave these and the are very annoyin, I'm 22 and I had them since bout 12 or so

  • Floaters ruins people life really. I think somewhere there place can rid with it

  • its just how people deal with them

  • I got them since march 2007. i really hate them and want take them off. how?

  • Pupil dilator drops caused the development of floaters in my eyes.

I am a very healthy middle-aged man, my eyes were perfect until 3 months ago when I went to ophthalmologist for a routine eye examination, my pupils were not dilating so they had to use 2 different drops of pupil dilators. The day after the visit I started seeing too many floaters in both eyes which still have them for the past 3 months, nothing improved.

  • I have two dots in my right eye.I heard a Magneseume rich deit help get rid of this

  • i understand whats going on. i even know some people who have them too, its common. i agree i heard veggies and natural juices help the eyes but not cure there disorders... here are some tips: 1) use sunglasses esp. when driving. 2) use soft light (the "green" kinds lol) when reading, and don't read so close (keep a foot distance). 3) eat healthier. 4) try getting eye-exams every other year. collab with your eye doctor about the issue. take care!

  • yes tey are depressing...i have them in both eyes....see the sky is depressing...drive is depressing...

  • I have 2 many floaters due to short vision good long vision crap. there actually really depressing.

  • wow... I've had these things as far as I can remember, to tell you the truth, I thought everyone has them... I've never talked about it or anything, I've found them sometimes to be annoying, when watching the sky or at winters when everything is white for instance... sometimes I try to catch them (if you know what I mean)... but they always tend to float away :P

I bet they're gonna start bothering me now that I know that this ain't normal :S

  • Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I've created a floaters blog called floatbusters. Its my own story with floaters, and tips and email support for people who need someone to talk to. Thanks

  • I'M TRYING TO RESIST,i live in sicily(italy)and in theese days i hate watch the sky....

  • these floaters are killing me!

    emotionally!!!!!!

    someone help

    please?

  • well, maybe u should listen to listen to psargen and not try anything and stay miserable because it didnt work for him ***sarcasm*** oh, and theres a certain tea that i think could work...

  • sandyroquai ti ho inviato un messaggio

  • anch'io ne soffro

  • Guys i am telling you one thing. If you are not that fucking unlucky and your floaters don't form a solid mass that affects your vision too much that you can't see at all- just try to ignore them.I really had a very bad time when a noticed them(i was just 15) and they drove me crazy. But i just ignore them.Till now there isn't a completely safe way to get rid of them.Hope one to be be found as soon as possible.Till then show strength.....

  • I have tried many suggested remedies and they didn't work for me. I would never tell somebody not to try something if they want to. I can only say what hasn't worked for me. For anybody reading this I suggest you look back over the history of these comments and you'll see that 2 people have been attacking me for some reason since the beginning. I'm glad to see I've helped many of you though and appreciate your emails

  • well i am listening to psargen. I just don't think dwelling on your floaters everyday is very helpful. By trying various "remedies," all you do everyday is keep thinking and checking your floaters, which make you even more depreseed. I would say. To deal with depression and anxiety, try to keep yourself busy on things you like and environments where floaters do not bother you

  • I don't know why you people attacking each other. We are all in the same fking boat. and we are all trying to help. If you think juice will work, go try it. No one is stoping you. It's a free cuntry, everyone can have their own opinions....

  • yeah- i'm not gonna respond to those guys anymore- i just saw newhere11's latest video. I never even would have tried to have an intelligent discussion with him if I had known how unstable he is. I know these things can be annoying but damn- that kid is nuts

  • Floaters are annoying and there may not be a cure, and u may have to just deal with them. But it doesn't make sense not to try to eliminate them. If you had a big test one day that you forgot to study for, would you try to pass the test, or just accept that you're gunna fail?

  • "try to keep yourself busy on things you like and environments where floaters do not bother you" Not everybody is weak enough to accept these things will keep them from doing things. I enjoy skiing, and the bright sun and the snow make floateres extremely annoying. And you're telling me the strongest thing I could do is just stop...what kind of whimp are u

  • well chicogoTypwriter. only strong people can accept things they can't change. You are the wimp who lives in denial. Well go ski all you want....get annoyed all day long... while you are at it, suck your own dick and see if your "juice" cure floaters

  • No, humanotwista, if you live miserable, knowing that you may be able to do something about it, THEN you are a wimp. You have it backwards.

  • ok then you tell me! what can i do about it?! huh? i have it like 4 years. what the fk can i do? nothing! i tried a million things already. now i just feel i have better things to do in my life

  • ok i have had them for 10 years...trying to cure them really doesnt pull a huge chunk from my life...you need to have persisestence. be open to new things, but in your case, if the answer isnt right in front of your face u just stop and decide its impossible

  • 10 years........wow you are pretty persistent. Igave up long ago. How old are you now? Did these buggers change your life entirely? or just a small part. Mine certainly did change my life but not as bad as i thought it would be. I can still work fine. Social life is fine too. But I know for sure my life would have been much better w/o them....

  • For some reason? Did you know that there are different kinds of floaters? Maybe certain remedies didnt work for u could work for other people. Theres already been a kid who listened 2 u and stopped, where if he had just tried 2 heal himself, it could have been succeful and he could b happy. You're having a negative impact on people, and u talk like ur some kind of wise one who knows what he's talking about. y don't you just stop obsessing over this if it's not your problem and leave us alone.

  • hello psargen and thank you!i have many floaters in both eyes...i.' afraid, but i want to live!i don' t want that theese floaters condition my life!thank you for your story, yoau are helping me!ps sorry for my bad english, i' m italian

  • thank you so much for that. nice to hear my message is coming across correctly to people- mostly i've only heard from these 2 lunatics about how evil they think i am. don't get it. but yeah- they're nothing to worry about and they become less and less noticable with time- just don't listen to those 2 guys who keep telling people they'll be cured if they drink juice. not true

  • I seriously hope you weren't just referring to me and Newhere11. Mine HAVE NOT settled and after 14 years, they haven't become any less noticable. You don't know that juices won't work, you haven't tried it, and there are reasons that it could work. You are so completely full of yourself, it's funny. You don't know everything dude, sorry.

  • I have tried natural juices- they didn't work. I saw some things on the internet where lasers are being used successfully. Now- again- mine don't bother me anymore. They're still there- as much as ever- they just don't bother me. But for people who they do bother- research the laser option. Juices and home remedies will not work

  • Okay, you go from not trying juices but thinking they won't work, to trying and being unsuccesfull. You're lying. And btw, the laser operation is reported to be not dangerous at all, but to only have a small effect.

  • I'd appreciate it if you just got off my back. I'm on here to tell people my story and try to help people and every time i've posted anything you attack me. I'm sick of it. Go pick a fight with somebody else- I'm here to try to make people feel better. Your behavior is destructive

  • OMG, you are so pathetic. You keep lying and changing your story. I'm done talking to you, but me and my friends have enjoyed laughing at your retarded comments.

  • well good for you and your friends- you've shown your true colors to everyone- you're a nasty person. well if anybody here wants to write to me with questions or needs any support on the issue of floaters please feel free- i've seen numerous doctors and specialists and tried a variety of treatments. i know how upsetting these things can be- so let me know- i can help

  • nobody listen to psargen, he honestly has no idea what he's talking about. don't listen to him when it comes to natural juices, he'll lie and tell u he tried it and was uncusseful and then he'll tell you he's 'helping you'

  • I'm not just gunna keep my mouth shut while you lie to people and spread the idea that juices can't work, when they could.

  • sorry- one last thing--- simply click on the one related video that you see on this page called "floaters- what are they? how do they happen?" that will help you get started. EDUCATE YOURSELF! Doctor's are your friend- not the enemy. Living in denial and drinking Sunny D isn't going to cure you my friend. grow up and do some research and stop spouting ignorance- ALL MY STATEMENTS ARE BACKED BY DOCTORS

  • i mean it though- you're a bad guy for doing that to people--- so do not bother speaking to me again until you have proof to back up your claims that can be found on the internet--- anything else you say to me from here on out will be ignored

  • you should be ashamed of yourself for coming here again and again telling people who are worried and afraid about a health problem that a cure is available when it is not. that's sick and cruel- research some facts to substatiate your ridiculous claims

  • at that point if you can find even one source suggesting that there is a cure or that drinking your stupid juice will help please come back and let me know where i can find that information- then we'll talk- unless that happens i will not respond to you again

  • this will be my last response to you newhere- because i'm tired of wasting my time on you. if you don't want to believe me and you don't want to trust medical experts then at least do some research on your own. type in "vitreous floaters" and read all the material you can on them

  • theres no cure. did u ever TRY natural juices

  • u guys are fuckin miserable peeps "im gonna just accept them for the rest of my life" fuck that shit. Did you ever try natural juices after a long period. dont fuckin listen to docs cuz all they want is your fuckin money. Natural juice is "the answer to health and vitality"

  • dude. I don't know what to say. I wish I could tell you otherwise. I know how disturbing they can be, but having false hope will make you feel more depressed in the future. Besides, my GP told me he has these buggers too. What can I say. It pisses me off first too but there is really nothing to be done except surgery

  • Besides, your argument is not that convicing. You said natural juices heals floaters because they contain lots of fluid that is good for eyes. So does that mean drinking pops and plain water helps too? How does fluid facilitate the elimination of these debris in your vitreous. I just don't get it.

  • i know your are desperate and helpless. But we are trying to help you. Why do you think we spend time fighting with you on youtube. Cuz we know your pain and we don't want you to have false hope. i am totally in the same boat as you. Just a little more experienced

  • it's not false hope. my fuckin friend has it. and read some of my comments on my vid ppl have tried it nd said its workin. how the fuck do YOU know it wont work? have u tried the juices? i dont think so. there is a cure. the cure may not be KNOWN, but there IS a cure

  • I agree with you. I am bothered less by floaters as these three years goes by. Although they stil upset me a lot. I also tend to attribute my problems in life to the fact that I have floaters. I do realize this is rather irrational and unhealthy. I hope I could talk to you more -psargen. Could I add you on my msn list?

  • That's what happened to me. Now- the few times I do notice them I just really don't care. They're a nuissance and a distraction- but they're not gonna make you go blind- and things could be a lot worse! Enjoy your life!!!!!!!!!!!

  • But to answer your question humanotwista- mine used to upset me horrendously and affect my mood terribly. You'll find as time goes on that it just bothers you less and less and then one day you'll think- wow- I haven't thought about my floaters in years

  • If they just wanted money wouldn't they try to peddle miracle cures and potions to heal? I'm not going to fight these people though- if they want to waist their money and invest false hope they can be my guest

  • I was trying to be helpful when i told my story and now i'm getting attacked by some people. I think it's funny that somebody on here was saying that you can't trust doctors because they're just in it for $. Any doctor will tell you there is no cure- end of story- THEY'RE NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING!

  • I'm not saying that I don't notice them at all any more- but it just doesn't occur to me to pay attention to them anymore- and the times that i do they just don't bother me anymore

  • i agree with psargen. I didn't want to be a jerk either. They do suck a lot. But as someone who have had them for 3 years, i have totally given uo hope and accept the fact that they will be with me for the rest of my life. MTC

  • Have any of you who are trying these "natural remedies" seen a doctor!?! There is no cure. I'm not trying to be a jerk but it just doesn't make sense that drinking juices could help anything. Floaters are solid particles trapped in a bag of fluid in your eye. The matter within the bag of fluid isn't going to change no matter what you drink- it's illogical. I believe that you are noticing them less because you believe drinking juice has magically cured you- but that's all. Sorry to be harsh

  • no that's irrational. you dont believe it'll work, why? because doctors said so? doctors are all about the motherfuckin money. They dont give 2 shits about natural shit. How the fuck would they know. Take a look at my videos. And also, its NATURAL. everything natural has a cure you're just naive and or stupid

  • and think about it, you think people will live with this shit for the rest of their lives? there has to be a cure. if thats the case, then most ppl with them will commit suicide so dont fuckin tell me it wont work

  • i happen to agree with Newhere. And also, it's not that there IS NOT a cure for it. God made cures for everything. So you are flawed when you said there are no cures. It's not that there isn't ANY cures, its just that there isnt any KNOWN cure

  • However, I am not sure if I will ever stop noticing them. Maybe after a few more year....

I am still curious and have a question for psargen. These floaters don't really affect your life in any ways? They affect my mood a lot when they are really aggrevating even though I have accept them as part of me, as a defect. I don't really understand how you could really manage to not notice them.....

  • I would never tell you not to try any of these remedies that people are suggesting here- but I will say--- as someone who's been through this for 18 years- I really don't believe any of them will work. And the truth is- it doesn't matter- because in time you WILL forget about them!

  • how can u u say natural juices is not a remedy

  • I find it hard to believe that every single one of yours were eleminated.

  • fine don't believe me. your loss and why do you find it hard to believe?

  • I believe most of them are gone. But no way they all are. That seems crazy. btw i'm trying juices so u cant really talk down to me like that

  • You really should stop worry about them or even thinking about them too much. They're not going to make you blind- they're not going to overtake your vision- they're not going to inhibit your life in any way. They're just a nuisance... MTC

  • but I really don't notice them anymore. If it's a really cloudy or rainy day when the sky is very white it's more apparent or if I'm in a brightly lit place with florescent lighting it's more apparent- but the point is this--- MTC

  • NOW- I will say that the number I have in both eyes increased dramatically from when I first noticed them at twelve until the age of 17 or 18- but at that point (i am 30 now) it pretty much stablilized and hasn't really increased. I definately have at least a dozen in each eye- varying in size and shape...MTC...

  • I went to see eye docs and specialists again- and all said the same thing- all though they understood that the size and number of floaters I had (which at this point i would honestly say was dozens in each eye) had increased that it was normal for people who notice them and totally harmless... MTC

  • Then when I got to be about 17 or 18 (i just remember I was still in high school- but almost finished) something brought my attention back to them and suddenly I started noticing and thinking about them again all the time... MTC...

  • By the time I was about 15 or so I started to forget about it- not because that's easy to do- but because when enough time goes by (and again- I was very young and we're talking about years) you do just naturally start to forget about them and then you don't notice them... more to come...

  • ...Because I had had such bad luck with my eye doctor for such a long time at that point I didn't believe him when he said they were innocuous. For at least a year or two I was incredibly upset about it... more to come

  • That whole year (when i was 12) I was crazy about it because I started to get more and in both eyes. It wasn't until probably my fourth or fifth trip to that idiot eye doctor that he accurately diagnosed it. more to come...

  • For the first few days I was totally freaked out because my parents didn't seem to understand what I was telling them -they didn't have them- so they didn't get it
